More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

I too had that issue, $950 at Tesla, but they made my car sit for a week before beginning the repair (they actually waited until after I came to pick it up before starting). And they NEVER tested it after a week and only one bad occurrence. I kept the old one hoping to find out if it was actually good, but it's pretty dangerous work swapping this part out.

I spoke to Big Earl at the time and he mentioned he had it done, so I felt OK spending the money. It helped that I was on a road trip and they gave me a loaner and paid for all my charging for the rest of the trip. I'd do that again.
Thank you @israndy and @Big Earl for the info. Learned that the service center in Santa Clara is open 7 days/week with techs working 24 hours M-F. Given the close proximity to the Fremont factory, I figured this was my best chance for getting back on the road quickly. I pleaded with the service advisor for an urgent appointment and they were able to pull some strings to get me in next day. I found some level 2 chargers and limped my way from Fresno to Santa Clara. Luckily, I don’t have my kids with me on this trip or else it would have been a nightmare.

Unfortunately, the first 12 hours were spent going down the misdiagnosis route, changing parts that weren’t malfunctioning (probably due to an algorithm they follow). The master tech came in the morning and identified the DC high voltage contactor as the failed part, replaced it, and my car was ready about 29 hours after drop off. Bill was $970 in total ($70 for part, $800 for diagnosis and labor). They installed a new chargeport door for no reason and decided to leave it on as goodwill and gave me my old door back as well since they made a mistake.

I hope these failures are not commonplace and will need to see if this new DC contactor is a revised part number or not (hopefully it’s been improved if it’s truly a common failure).

Whatever bad luck you had with the DC high voltage contactor was more than made up for with your good fortune at Vacaville - Alamo Drive! Incredible timing.

We're running out of stops, @JSergeant. You planning to hold up somewhere for a couple of days until the quarter ends? :)
Sorry that I missed you on your visit, @Half Dollar Bill, but thanks for visiting and hopefully the Urban charger wasn't too busy or difficult to locate inside of the parking structure. Kudos on the 1st at New Stanton.

Replacing the charge port door is a gross misdiagnosis, but hey, you're good to go now. Glad you're back on the road.

We tried twice to get the Supercharger in South Padre Island; only 2 chargers and they were full both times; even though they showed available.
Unfortunately we have to head back to Colorado so we will miss the next Starship launch attempt on Thursday.

Apparently the site has been down since you left (or perhaps a little after) - TMC post suggests a primary fuse blew and awaits the utility to replace it.

🤔 Wondering if that reman battery in your car took the site out on your departure.
