Mp3mike, thats looks really hard, the pressure springs that make it retract don't look like fun to tackle. Thanks for heads up on firmware.

@diaretical Curious how things turned out. Did you get the part? How long did it take? Did you do the repair yourself? Insights and/or lessons learned? (Got the same problem with an out-of-warranty vehicle and looking for a $8 vs. $800 fix...)
