I'm looking at installing the Wall Connector in my garage. JET Charge (one of Tesla's recommended electricians) can do the installation in 2 visits; 1st visit to install RCD in switchboard and isolator and run the cables, and 2nd visit to connect the Wall Connector after I get my 3.

I was quoted $700-$800 ex-GST for a single-phase installation (installer will give proper quote on 1st visit).

What are you guys doing and what do you think of the price?
For Perth owners, we have a list of electricians who have done installs in Tesla WA slack.
Ali, who is an AEVA member and has helped us install some of our bush 3phase sockets has been very competitive and deserves our support.

Looking through the spreadsheet, I think I know why even though I'm not a reservation holder I've still been contacted. (ordered in July) '

I ordered the P3D+ in red with a white interior. Seems like one other person ordered that combo on the spreadsheet, and I can imagine it's not going to be super popular. Only reason I can think of?

A bit of activity on the account which is positive and moving forward I guess. Noticed my wife's DOB was wrong and emailed today and that got fixed up straight away and is now reflecting in the registration tab. Also, posted custom plates to Tesla Melbourne and now the plates are showing up as well in the account so hoping delivery specialist call is not too far away. Don't want to get carried away but fingers crossed and toes curled for a call this week with a delivery update..

Is there anyone in this thread, in Melbourne, waiting on an S or X that would care to share a status? Both mine and my wife’s are sitting on ‘final invoice soon’ since Thursday. My wife had a hidden vin for her Model X that disappeared yesterday.
could be they are focussing on delivery milestones for us Model 3 customers who have suffered for 3+ years?

Press demo cars were 409xxx

Correct, this was in the press vehicle batch. Details attached. Just ran the numbers.

VIN for the curious is 5YJ3F7EAXKF409665. Figured it out because the NSW tare weight is 1609. That can only be an SR which is vin code "A". The check digit (9th digit) can be reverse calculated as well, and then it's down to 2 numbers. 40 was most likely given press/company cars and no deliveries.
