@Pixor, mine sat on the delivery version for 11 days - but that's random. It depends on what updates are available, and what your car's build is.

To give you an idea, here's a complete list of all my updates since I got my S in March 2020:

Wow you must be on the "good" list I take it. Those numbers I can only dream of ever getting close to. I was blessed enough one time back when I first got the car to get one update to install 2 days after discovery but ever since then 14 days was my best but it's normally around the 30 day mark. Last update was 6 weeks ago now but hey gotta make sure those update servers aren't too overloaded 🙄

I beat you @rubberbudgie - 7 weeks since my last update & an average of 19 days between my 30 updates. Currently sitting on build that is ten versions behind the current one. I am in an exclusive club that represents a mere 2% of the current flee. Lucky I did not select STANDARD as my Software Update Preference as I have already let 98% of the fleet update ahead of me. Selecting ADVANCED does SFA IMO. So I am doing my bit for the overloaded servers too ;)

I picked up my Tesla last Wednesday, and it has 2021.3.105. How long do new cars tend to sit on their delivered version (I have selected advanced and it’s on wifi)

I picked up mine 4 weeks ago and still on same old firmware. Updates set to advance aswell

I had one stretch of 55 days without updates as per the list - it happens to everyone I guess.

I can assure you all I'm on no special list. I just have my car connected to wifi whenever it's parked. I noticed that if a download fails or is interrupted, it often misses the retry window, and waits for the next update. Perhaps that's the issue? Also, Model S vs Model 3?

I had two situations a couple of years ago where I interupted the download by moving away from wifi At precisely the worst moment. On both occasions it needed technician support to clear the error to enable any download to work. I’m not sure if that situation has been corrected yet.

For the first year of ownership I got on average 1 update per month. I dont have FSD, but I do have Advanced selected and car is connected to solid wifi for at least 70% of the time. Now current year has been way slower. for the first 7 months of this year I only got 4 updates, but now in the last 50 days i have got 3 updates.
The last one I got was 2021.32.10 just yesterday, so I took it out for a bit longer drive today. The Autosteer (Beta) appears to have been re-coded as it behaves noticeably different from previous versions. The "NAG" appears way more random now also, before if you nudged the steering every 13 seconds, you were golden, now it sometimes is twice that time and sometimes less. With Autosteering though there used to be a nice feature, that if you turned on indicator, the car did not struggle to keep steering and just smoothly let you take over retaining cruise control on speed, well since last update, the indicator means nothing to it and it takes some struggling to gain control unless you use the lever and disengage cruise as well as autosteering :(
Hope they change that back with future updates. Other than that have not noticed any other issues yet with the software version I have.

Yeah I second this. Not disengaging when you put on the indicator is driving me nuts.

Previously, flicking the indicator would disengage autopilot but not tacc.
Flicking the indicator has never disengaged the AP for me. What is does do on my Model 3 non-FSD, is reduce by about 80% the turn force required to override Autosteer to disconnect AP. This is a a nice feature which I like and will be a shame to lose. I still have to turn the wheel though to disconnect it, it is not the indicator selection doing the AP disconnect. I am still back on build 2021.12.25.7.

That is really weird that the same version number would do different things. I went through 2021.12.25.7 with the opposite to what you are describing.
I've only had mine for 6 weeks and since getting it, right up to the latest update, if it was in AP and I indicated to change lanes AP would disengage, the steering wheel icon would go to grey, and I would be able to change lanes without resistance, then have to re-engage AP once in the new lane. TACC would remain active the whole time.
Mine came with 2021.3.103 and I went through 2021.12.25.7, 2021.24.3, 2021.24.4, 2021.24.5 all with the same behaviour.
Then as soon as I updated to 2021.32.10 I noticed it straight away the first time I went driving. I put on my indicator, AP did not disengage, and I had to put a lot of pressure on the wheel to get it to disengage so I could change lanes. I don't have FSD or EAP.

Yeah, on mine the process to lane change with autosteer active is > indicate & nothing changes apart from the wheel resistance to override autosteer being markedly reduced. Then a very light turn of the wheel to lane change causes Autosteer to disconnect with associated chime + grey wheel notification. TACC stays in. When about half way through the lane change I can re-engage autosteer with the stalk & it completes the manoeuvre. I can imagine how it could be easy to think it is the indicator selection that is turning autosteer off because it reduces the override pressure so much that you could think it was off.
