Weird today
M2
Autosteer not changing max speed despite speed limits changing in screen . I entered M2 from Pennant hills

Speed limits accurately indicated on screen:

Pennant hills heading south 70
M2 heading east 100-80(temporary)-100-80

I had to manually right scroll to adjust max speed every time speed limit changed on screen. When I activated Autosteer my actual speed was less than the posted speed limit on the screen (M2 on ramp)

Corrected by deactivating and reactivating Autosteer

Wipers on the other hand. Excellent

my 9.5 years old Model S has just had its MCU upgraded to V2. So the support is there to some extent. I never expected that new features like FSD or Sentry would be rolled out to all cars regardless of age.
The only complaint I have is that 4G coverage is no where near as good as the 3G coverage of the original MCU1.
I saw another model S today while out in the foothills. They look awesome, I would just enjoy driving and looking at it more than worrying about any upgrades as long as it still ran haha :)

Looks like 2024.14.3 is rolling out, including to vehicles in Australia.

New UI is awesome
Sounds like this 2024.14 is more or less just a UI update.

Audible app addition is a great idea
Phone sentry preview is good idea
Adaptive HB not a big deal for me. i think it may still be seen as glare by on coming drivers
Autoshift not available for me in Y

What about improvements in:
Max speed when TACC activated - it defaults to current speed even if speed limit is selected when current speed is > than speed limit when TACC is activated.
School zone time based speed limits - mapping implementation
Tunnel lane lights appearing as traffic lights
Saving pillar cams video in sentry mode
Pedestrian safety sound
Auto emergency brake when USS detects impending collision - say in a shopping centre car park
For me wipers now nearly correctly implementated - for others no.
