North America
2012: 0 + 0 + 2 + 7 = 9
2013: 0 + 2 + 11 + 28 = 41
2014: 32 + 16 + 19 + 23 = 90
Total: 9 + 41 + 90 = 140

Europe
2013: 0 + 0 + 6 + 8 = 14
2014: 0 + 10 + 46 + 40 = 96 (Including: Berlin, Germany)
Total: 14 + 96 = 110

Asia
2014: 0 + 3 + 16 + 22 = 41

Global total: 140 + 110 + 41 = 291

2014 total so far: 90 + 96 + 41 = 227

Q1 2014 total: 32 + 0 + 0 = 32
Q2 2014 total: 16 + 10 + 3 = 29
Q3 2014 total: 19 + 46 + 16 = 81
Q4 2014 so far: 23 + 40 + 22 = 85

First half of 2014: 32 + 29 = 61
Second half of 2014 (so far a total of 160 days): 81 + 85 = 166
Remaining days in second half of 2014: 24

166 new live Supercharger stations in 160 days (in second half of 2014), that's even more than 1 new live Supercharger station per day, that's extraordinary!!!

Email from Tesla concerning the Supercharger Maps.

Hi Mr. Harney,

Thank you for your email. We are working on a updated version of our maps and plan to post them on our website soon.
There are a number of scenarios that can affect the timeline for a new site but we are working hard to open as many sites as quickly as we can. We understand the need for more Superchargers and we are excited to announce new sites on our website and in your Model S.
We appreciate your patience, enthusiasm and support in Tesla and our Supercharger technology.

Best regards,
The Tesla Supercharger Team

Oklahoma Supercharger in the news. At an odd, out of the way place. Truly for people "passing through".

Article on it today: http://www.pdjnews.com/

At this gas station next to the McDonalds from what I gather: Google Maps

Still waiting on the one in OKC which makes much more sense considering it's a crossing point for I-35 and I-40.

Perry is close to Stillwater, so that's a great location!

This does mean a Supercharger in OKC is required, since Perry to Ardmore is too far. See my speculation on this: SuperCharger - Denton, Tx - Page 3
Agree, not only is it too far apart, but OKC is the crossroads of two major interstates I-40 and I-35 so one would be needed near there for I-40 as well. Perhaps the supercharger will be on I-40 so it would be a short detour for 60's traveling north/south, and 85's on that route could skip it if they want.

There is an outlet mall on the west side that lists CBL Associates as one of the developers. At one point, they had an agreement with Tesla to host SuperChargers, but it doesn't seem to have borne much fruit.

Congrats to the Tesla team on 300 SC's

For some pretty amazing stats, consider that at the beginning of 2014 there were 64 Superchargers, 50 in North America and 14 in Europe. 236 of the 300 have been built in 2014 or 79% of those 300 built this year. More impressive is that 63 or 21% of the 300 have opened since Nov 1, 1.5 months!

Since Nov 1 a Supercharger has opened every 17.5 hours or 1.37 Supercharger openings per day!!! At that rate, we will get 500 more Superchargers in 2015!!!!!

You really don't expect that rate to continue, do you. In 2014, a large number of SC's came on-line in the early part of the year, and then it slowed down dramatically until the last month or two. That may happen again. We shall see.

In any event, the actual number of SC's on-line in the U.S (approximately 140), is far short of what their end of 2014 map shows they would have (approximately 200 in the U.S. at the end of 2014). I understand Tesla is in the process of redoing the map. Lets hope that the revised map will be more realistic. It is better to under promise and then over deliver, than to over promise and then under deliver (which is what Tesla has done on numerous occasions, and not just with the SC rollout).
