I was going to post on here earlier today my prediction JB was leaving and they would announce it today. I know that sounds fishy but it’s true.

I kinda had the same feeling when they introduced his second in command at the annual shareholder meeting. Seemed a bit odd... I thought he would resign there, knowing he had his recycling business start-up (i think).

Of course it's sad that JB is leaving... but his new ventures (recycling, etc.) seem aligned with the Tesla mission so perhaps he just wants some more ownership and control for himself. anyone with JB's resume can raise any amount of VC money.

it bears repeating that the only result of the bears' "executive departures" story has been record deliveries of revolutionary products that win awards, amazing text scores and awesome consumer love, the world over. JB's changes should have no effect on that trajectory.
