If it's a Cali car, it should have plates on the front.
A lot of us in CA will risk the fix it ticket to not have the front plate. The car in my avatar is my Cali car.

Mr Dodger,Folks,
Thursday's Close was $679.00 and Friday's Low was $611.52
If any trading occurred at the following share price on Friday, that would have triggered the curcuit breaker again (ironically, already in effect on Friday for all the good it did):
$679 - 10% = $611.10
Jus' sayin'. That's how close we got to triggering the "Uptick Rule" again for today: 42 cents
Looks like Shortzes walked right up to the line w/o crossing it... but there is no manipulation of TSLA, right?
Cheers!
That thick strut on the right looks much the same as the powered one on my Model S. Not a thin gas strut.OT
Given the height of the trunk door, a button seems a necessity:

Can anyone tell if this is powered? - gas strut here:

No, not really. It is a requirement that is rarely enforced. If it's a Cali car, it should have plates on the front. I don't see any, and thus I'd bet it's still manufacturer's plates, and not a personal car.
"Jets" are streams of gasses. For instance, the Sun expels "jets" of gas... and it not a turbine engine. It would no longer be called a Jet because it is nicknamed after a jet engine. Maybe called a E-plane! Big ones could designated an E-(insert plane designation number)-heavy.
More than 50% of the California Tesla's have no plates on the front. Even cars many years old. The car looks better without a plate. The police generally don't care. In my city, for instance, if I get a ticket, I can either show them I mounted the plate, or mail in $20. In the 8 years since my first Tesla, and with no plate on front, I have one ticket: $20. I still have no front plate. If it's a Cali car, it should have plates on the front. I don't see any, and thus I'd bet it's still manufacturer's plates, and not a personal car.

I have been driving almost 2 years without a license plate in the front. Most Model 3s are the same. The front license plate doesn't look good, and we Californians are vain about looks!
The only way a pilot can remotely pilot a jet fighter in real time combat missions is with fast, low latency network connections. Starlink. Watch for deal with Air Force and Starlink for big $$$$ if they buy into the story. Mars funding secured...
Is "Not long now" a shorter or longer amount of time than “soon"?
Think how many committees this decision would have gone through in a different company.
Elon just took the advice of his team, took a quick squiz at the plot, double checked the transportation capacity and announced it on the same day. Any company without a strong founder just can't move that fast.
Enforcement of these laws depends mainly on whether the incumbents believe people care enough to vote them out of office. I'd expect in CA they do care enough.weird. in VA, you would get a ticket within about 5 minutes of driving without a front plate.

Haha, all the Cali Tesla people swarmed on that post. xD
I'm also from Cali, and half of my cars had plates in the front during the time I resided there. I did, in fact, get a ticket for not having it once, before I left the state for military duties.
I would just have assumed that a car purchased from a dealer would have had plates automatically installed in the front. My mother has purchased many cars from dealers, and they've always come like that. I only purchased from a dealer in VA, so I can't say from personal experience.
