They updated the date again today. Now its 12/27 thru 12/31. Just too bad. I am out on vacation. Can't be waiting on the side lines for these fools to decide when they really going to deliver.

If you have no VIN, you are probably safe...I've taken two vacations this month including now during previous EDDs. They aren't worth the paper they are printed on until you have a VIN.

Actually, it makes more sense to take the middle of the EDD range. I have now changed the form.

Troy, the current VINs seem all over the place. I got a 345 VIN. I assume that’s a new car rolling off the line and not a reject? Tesla says it’s still in Fremont so I would assume so, but also seeing 348 VINs makes me nervous.

Yes, VIN 345,000's are pretty new and most likely produced between 10-24 Dec 2021. My best guess is 16 Dec.

Rejected cars will be repaired and resold by Tesla. They will have older VINs. Not necessarily bad, some view them as having been extra tested. Others want “theirs” off the assembly line. I guess I’m in the latter group.

Yup, the date changed again from a 4 days EDD span to a 28day span. Now Jan delivery. Bunch of jokers.

Do everyone’s EDDs hop around like crazy? Mines been stuck at June since I ordered. Maybe it moved around when I wasn’t looking .

Checked this morning to see EDD of 12/31 - 1/10 but that changed to 12/30 - 12/31 this evening along with population of VIN in my Tesla account! Mine is a Model Y Performance FYI...

I do not even look at my EDD date any longer. I will wait for the delivery text message and then figure it out from their.

Latest update: I did not take delivery of the MYP assigned to me on 12/29 and received a new EDD of 1/2 -1/30 the following day. As of today, EDD has changed to 1/30 - 2/27, which I'm ok with if that means potentially getting the new AMD Ryzen chip!

Ordered aug 3rd, completed everything including loan info immediately, no changes or anything to cause delay. Have had EDD as early as Nov 9th but just keep pushing back. Now Jan 6th- 20th. Looking at the sheet my car taking much longer than most.

Released hold 12/30, switched to financing 12/31. Just accepted loan terms today. 1/6-2/3 EDD.

My vin disappeared after being there for a week! Did this happen to anyone else?

Yes after I put down a hefty deposit and had the loan ready and expiring the end of January. My data is now March 2 - March 30.
