Texas Hold Up!

Just got a call from Kevin. He said he got word first thing this morning when he got in to work that Texas is finally happening. He said I did not have a VIN yet, but he expects it to come "very soon". He also said he would mine would "be prioritized" since I've been "waiting the longest." He said he'll call me back one way or the other this week with an update. He said he was very confident (he can't make any guarantees) that I would take delivery in the month of February. That gives two weeks from today and would make 6 weeks and 5 days from config to delivery. We shall see...

At least things are moving. Happy for the rest of y'all, too.

FWIW, my config is Blue with aeros. Configured on Jan 12.

I'm glad to hear that! You configed almost a week before me, andI can't imagine how crabby I'll be in a week... you're remarkably level-headed about the 6+ week lag.

I'm practicing my mindfulness... breathe in, breathe out, enjoy the moment. And six weeks is ok... six weeks is ok.... six weeks is ok...

Received call from Delivery Specialist Chris in Las Vegas just now ... paperwork being processed. Delivery window for my vehicle to Houston Westchase service center expected the week of 2/26 - 3/2.

He confirmed what others are saying ... Texas rollout officially began yesterday 2/13.

We've got the exact same config (even down to software), so it will be interested to compare VINs and delivery times, given that I ordered almost exactly a month after you.

My only gripe is the non-communication. If they would have told me up front "Hey, we're not delivering in Texas right now, so you'll have to wait longer than everyone else." then I would have understood, but they gave me the same 4-week delivery estimate that everyone got.

Congrats. If I still don't have mine by then, I may start hunting some of you down and camping in your driveway just to catch a glimpse ;)

VIN! VIN! VIN! 55XX

Just got off the phone with Kevin. He said I should be getting an email "very soon" with paperwork. He also said I need to keep an eye on the account to make ACH payment from the order screen once it becomes available. His guess was that the car(s) would be on a Texas-bound delivery truck early next week. He said we can't really lock in delivery date until that happens. He said not to really expect to hear from him again until then, although anything is possible and they could ship them sooner.

Sigh.

Oh, and no promised phone call from delivery person, either. That was supposed to happen "in a couple of hours" seven hours ago.
Sucks. Is Kevin your guy? He's been pretty good about getting back to me. I haven't dealt with anyone else, so I'm not sure about the others.
