My advisor in Nevada told me today the reason for the Texas Model 3 delay is shipping logistics, since they are shipping at higher volumes now.
Configured 01/17/18. Advisor said delivery should be within 2-3 weeks from today.

Just spoke with my delivery specialist a few minutes ago. That was quick - just 90 minutes after my VIN showed up! He said I am looking at an early March delivery, but would let me know if it speeds up somehow. Not sure if that means anything for the other Dallas owners.

I just got off the phone with Kevin tonight as well, great guy, very thorough.
He didnt mention sending any paperwork, are you paying by cash?
He said i needed to secure financing and then he would arrange delivery which could be as early as next week pending who I decide to finance with. Interested to see what these docs are.

Yep. Paying cash. Interesting he said as early as next week. He didn't seem that optimistic when I talked to him earlier. Maybe he got more recent information that leads him to believe that. He was stressing to me the last week of February.

Forgot to answer your question about the paperwork itself. It looks very similar to the order agreement you got when you configured. The only difference I can tell is it outlines your "out the door" cost and shows your remaining balance.

Yea, he said if you had financing in place next week would be a possibility. Well, I had no idea if it was going to be another month or so and didnt want to get locked in and then reapply or something.
I am ok with 2 weeks if need be...I really am.
My birthday is coming up. I wouldnt mind that be the present!

Mine is almost the same exact VIN and same configuration. The guy from Nevada called me today and said he would call me tomorrow to let me know which is the fastest cash payment option: wire or ACH.
