It could mess you up if you lose traction in ice or snow, since the winter tire will grip better than the other three. Hopefully Tesla's stability control will adjust for it.
What is snow? I am in SoCal.

Yep. I've been seeing that since the 10th. Actually, my car is at the body shop now and came back online last Thursday when they sent me the survey email. I can see when they have the hatch open, etc. now...but am waiting until I get my car back before submitting the survey.New Mobile App feature while car is at service:

Wow! $50 isn't too shabby. Cost less than any of your sunshades!... on that note, do you use your sunshades regularly? I still have yet to use mine.I think I will have to pay $50 for it ):
Hopefully it can just be popped back into place
I think too many of us would probably make the car honk or flash our lights or something while it was in service.New Mobile App feature while car is at service:

Got the car back, the entire repair cost me about $650 (new tire, rim repair, and the plastic tire shield replaced). Don't get a flat tire in your Tesla.
I take it that that means he jacked in a good spot and didn't cause any damage?
Tesla didn't notice any suspension damage. Not sure how throughly they checked though.
Don't forget to get your card punched. After 10 repairs the next one's on the house (either that or you get a free meatball sub).Got the car back, the entire repair cost me about $650 (new tire, rim repair, and the plastic tire shield replaced). Don't get a flat tire in your Tesla.

Glad to see you are keeping your sense of humor, Captain. You have much more than your share of Tesla travails in the last 7 months.I got two punches in my tires and possibly one in the battery. Does that count?

That's a sedan. Are the tires even comparable? I won't be paying $650 for one tire for my S. I'll guarantee you that.4 flat tires in my Cadillac ELR + a sunshade is equivalent to one in my X (in terms of cost to replace). $150 vs $650

What do you think it is about the Tesla's tires that make them more expensive? The speed and weight rating? They are 21 inch compared to my Tesla's 20
