I ordered same day as you. M3LR Black/Black but no VIN

Same spec ordered on about 15th (lease company so not sure of exact date) and nothing yet either

Ordered 07/09 and received my reg/VIN on Sunday.

Great choice ...Same spec as mine ,ordered 2nd Aug, I've seen VIN in source code , but nothing official from Tesla yet

Sol ummed and ahhed over the 19" sport wheels today after I saw a red Ferrari with huge silver wheels. Despite the Tesla rep saying that it wouldn’t affect my order I think I’m going to stick with the 18s for now and maybe get some aftermarket 19 inchers later down the line.

Also, whats the VIN we should be looking for in the source code for UK orders, anybody know?

I just search for “vin” you normally get 7 returns to scroll through.

Go to view source on the order page and search for "isNotMatchedToRa00Vin" if this has true after it this means that a Vin has not yet been assigned to your order.

Not sure this is true as mine says true after and I have a vin.. In the source code just search for LRW

Yes - same here currently on Firefox and Edge - it makes a change from the previous radio silence, but can't figure out if its a good thing or not

How did you know what to order so you could definitely get delivery confirmed? I’ll try myself if I get no luck. I ordered 1st October black/black

I was told the blue SR+ wouldn’t be coming in sep and I’d have to expect delivery in November. Couldn’t wait. Then a few came up in inventory that I chose from. Got the SA to swap my order

That's encouraging! I too ordered 09/09. - M3LR, AWD, midnight silver, 19" wheels, black interior. I shall be checking my Tesla account frequently.

I stand corrected. I read in another thread that this was the key indicator and then one could search for "vin" because "vin" on it's own comes up with 88 matches on that page.

Did get a bit excited when I did spot a VIN in the source code but then realised it was for my current car (trade-in).

Hey guys,

I’ve just had an epiphany. Those of us who ordered M3 SR+’s will not be assigned VINs. This is because the version of the SR+ Tesla is supplying the UK are technically different to the ones we ordered online. For example, the range of the new LFP batteries is slightly less than the NCA battery range displayed on their website.

Thus, they cannot assign a “different” vehicle to the one we ordered (due to this technicality). So we’ll most likely receive a text closer to the time asking us if we’d like to opt for the LFP version of the SR+.

Can someone correct me if I’m wrong please, thank you
