Just got a delivery text, scheduled for the 10th November in Glasgow.

Mine seems fine. Web site for scheduling was working and I’ve had a confirmation email.

I wonder if Q4 deliveries are now coming from Germany? That could explain the shipping mystery.

They’re definitely coming from Shanghai, according to the person at Tesla I spoke to. Also it doesn’t look like Germany are doing the M3 to begin with, looks like they’re starting off with the model Y.

Fingers crossed for you.. seemed strange when it came through as most people haven’t had the vin text or email yet.

GF4 in Grünheide has not been granted to start producing. As far as Germany knows, GF4 will only build MY for EU market in first few years, not M3.

I have a question I originally ordered 26.08 SR+ white int, white ext, 18". After that on 11.09 I updated my order for SR+ white int, blue ext, 18". So I guess that drops you down the queue? No texts or VIN.

I’ve not had an apology text yet but I am also scheduled to pick up at the NEC if that helps anyone track down what went wrong here (or if the problem is only for NEC appointments as someone mentioned above they were also the NEC).

What spec did you order?

exactly .... so in Q4 all M3 and MY will be shipped from Shanghai. I guess there will not be "Tesla only" Carriers and even some ship maybe
loaded with "some" Teslas ..... just check the harbour schedules from Zeebrügge and Koper.

Tesla sells a lot more cars here and so every free space on ships will be needed.

Hope to get my M3 LR AWD in november ....

Just got the delivery text too. Unfortunately I can't schedule the delivery because "There are currently no appointments available. A Tesla representative will contact you. ... Please check back at 8AM tomorrow."

We selected collection from the NEC when placing the order. Let's see what happens at 8AM tomorrow.

No mention of a VIN in the text...

Yeah, same for me too. I selected collection from Brent Cross.

If I go to the overview page still no VIN in there, just in the source code, and it still says 'we are drafting up your contract...' Let see what happens.

Had the text come through at 5:45 and rang them straight away. Was told they’ve been sent out by mistake

So it looks like there are 2 different messages being sent out. 1 being no appointments available and the other actually giving a date.

Who got a delivery date and was then told the text was sent out by mistake?
