I just had an SMS from Tesla to say "Your Model 3 Long Range is nearly here!" I have already had my reg and VIN a couple of weeks ago. Based on the fact HELIOS RAY is still not docked I am presuming my car was on VIKING OCEAN and that they have checked my car this morning?

When are you due to collect it?

Exactly 48 hours for me now. Re the drive home, I've got 80 miles but will test out a supercharge on the way regardless of what's in the tank. Ops! Old habits!

Don't think that particular text is triggered by a car coming off a boat. I got that text last week. Not due to collect until this Friday.

WOW!

Just had Tesla CS ring me up as a courtesy call, to confirm that my collection is still happening in Leicester on Friday!

Told them that there was a little bit of concern online as Helios Ray was delayed, but although she couldn't confirm the ship name with me, she said that my collection date was "unaffected"!

First time I have had Tesla contact me over the phone like that! EXCITED!!!!!!

Going to start looking at the trees and bushes near my driveway to make sure there's no branch sticking out to scratch my new baby... I mean car hahaha

Just been past Southampton Western Docks on the train and there’s at least a good few hundred Model 3s that I could see sitting in the area right next to Millbrook station that I don’t think were there last week!
