that seems surprising for two reasons.
1) it seems early to do PDI if the pickup is March - would still expect it to be on a boat
2) it suggests they do a PDI which is news to many :)

For trade-ins, if you can live without the car for a few weeks, do they let you drop the car off to maintain the value, or can they only do that at point of collection? You’d think if you’re doing finance with them they could apply the value to your balance as a deposit
I said it was far too early for a PDI too but nobody had seen a text like this (Because they dont PDI 🤣 ) , after some checks they called me to say damaged in transit , who knows what ship its on but it can't be repaired in time . Cars are damaged in transit more often than you think .

Getting it through Leaseplan and I have a 2019 Model 3 2wd on short term lease with them so I will just extend it

I tried that, they told me that they couldn't tell me anything unless ALD authorised it. Seems they knew it was a lease somehow. Might give it another try.
Managed to get hold of a contact in Tesla and been told that a VIN has been assigned and that my car is on the SFL Composer so should arrive in Southampton in a few days. :)

Excellent news! I would love to know which ship mine is on but they wouldn’t tell me.

I have a delivery date of March 14th and was simply told that the ship was due to arrive before the end of Feb.

They told me that SFL Composer is due in Southampton on 26th Feb but Marinetraffic tracker is showing 22nd. I would guess that yours is probably on the same vessel. 🤞

IRELAND Deliveries: With so many Tesla ships on the high seas, I am hopeful that some communications start coming from Tesla about March deliveries. It does not appear (unless I am wrong) that these have started to happen and in my chats with Tesla they had previously indicated that we should hear something in February. I expect this is in line with others experience fro anticipated March deliveries?

Many thanks, I called yesterday, no one has really wanted to help as they seem to somehow know I am a lease buyer. Having said that. The chap I spoke to yesterday said everything has been completed and I had a delivery specialist(whatever that means) hoping I get a date and a car matched soon. Fingers crossed all goes well, im sure it will.đź‘Ť
Yeah I got told exactly the same. The wait is killing me

Yeah, I’m torn between SFL Composer and MSC Immacolata which is due in on 27th Feb. Maybe I’ll never get to know. 🙂
Snap. Tesla text asked to deliver 12th March but have had to reschedule to the 14th..lots of people getting texts, of course some ships go onto Zeebrugge and so might not have as many for UK as others. There might be a mass of M3 arriving end of feb and deliveries spread through first two weeks of march.

Yes, they'll know it's a lease from the RN number. But the one I spoke to on chat just asked me to confirm the vehicle config, then they were happy to give me an update (although the update was that there was no update haha).
The best one though was I somehow got through on the US chat one day, and the advisor there told me the ALD Tesla login email address and to use that to check my vehicle status!!

In case this helps anybody. I just received an email from Tesla stating that my final invoice is available and this now shows my registration plate number (WGZ nnnn as it is NI). I am due to collect in Belfast on 3 March so today is exactly 13 days prior. Full payment due 7 days before delivery. Now I have to go and rob the piggy bank ;).

I've an M3P on order - due for collection from Manchester March 14.

A helpful chap at Tesla Manchester emailed me the attached image, from what I understand 2170L are the latest Panasonic made cells so the battery will be the 82kWh model. Range is shown as 567km = 352m (same as 2021 spec.).

I'd read that the new Ryzen consumed more energy so was concerned with the range showing the same as a 2021 the car would have the Atom processor. A quick web chat with the infamous Davide has put my mind at rest - my car has the Ryzen processors and new 15v low voltage battery - all good news.

Tesla now show a range of 340m for the 2022 M3P - I presume they will be fitting the 79kWh LG battery in future deliveries and I've dropped lucky with a 2022 spec. car and the slightly larger battery.

In case anyone is interested in immediate delivery, otherwise please ignore. As Tesla is now offering August and November 2022 deliveries for new orders (6-9 months from now), thought someone may be interested in immediate delivery. I have received notice from my company to move back to the USA and only a week before receiving notice I purchased and took delivery of a Tesla M3. In case anyone may be interested or know someone who may be interested, I have a brand new M3 LR MSM (Midnight Silver Metallic) with 19" Sports Wheels which was one of the last produced in December with the Data-enabled USB Hub and all the Data Apps plus has 12-months Free Premium Networking. It has not been driven and has been stored in an underground locked garage, not exposed to the environment, it is brand spanking new, feels and smells and looks brand new. In case of interest and wish to inspect, it is located in Central London. It is priced exactly what I paid Tesla, with no premium. If you search for Tesla LR's on Autotrader there are 5 brand new M3's but all without the 1500 pound 19" wheels and are all demanding premiums priced at 53,950. Mine is much less pls it comes with the 19" wheels plus + Data-enabled USB Hub + 12-months Free Premium Networking:

Just spoke to Tesla chat and was told 23rd-31st March for delivery for MYLR. Ordered Feb 4th. He was very clear that it would definitely be in March and to let them know if I couldn't do March. I of course said I can definitely do March and would take the soonest date available - sadly he did not offer a pickup today as I had dreamed he might....

Lol. This completely contradicts what I was told over chat about my M3P in the same VIN range (LRW3F7EL6NC505###), which was that it is 'current studio designer spec' with 340 mile range.
