Yeah, make sure you wear a light jacket.I wouldn't think so. Such accessories do get delivered out of Tesla's parts warehouse in nearby Newark but, I doubt they can coordinate all that for you in these busy times. Better to get them delivered to your home address separately.
Enjoy the trip to the (freezing) Bay Area and have a great drive back home in your spanking new 3!!
I am now adding to this, a call I just received from delivery person, I am scheduled to pick up my car on 12/29 at Marina Del Rey (los angeles). Nice to have it just before the New Year!Less than a week from configuring, received VIN 236x. Delivery supposedly early side of January at the Los Angeles distribution location. White with 18's.
Got my Vin today. In the 2000s. Just did a Michigan to Florida road trip nonstop 22 hours many superchargers. Super awesome. Later thread. Tired.Anybody getting a vin configured for silver metallic?
Interestingly, my contact specifically wanted to know if I had plans around the holidays, and seemed to be looking for bay area people who were going to be around between xmas and new years.
Hello Everyone. My first post in TMC. I just received my VIN assignment 23xx. I am in Los Angeles and ordered a black M3 with 19” wheels. Spoke to Tesla rep, Thursday, she said she would call back same night and let me know pick up date. She was noncommittal about 2017 delivery. No call yet. Called and texted few times. Radio silence. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
Configured 12/7; was just assigned VIN #1981. Ready for pickup in Fremont! (My plan was to take the factory tour, and drive the car back down to LA.) Yay!
Seems to be at least 500 per week and increasing. They are inviting 5000 a week and prioritizing cash California deliveries. Likely after new year they’ll open up to all USA to take pressure off of regional delivery centers.Just curious on people who are getting deliveries. When did you actually place your order for the initial deposit? Also, is Tesla following the previous Tesla owner priority line, followed by whoever queued up?
Does anyone know what is their production rate now? Based on what i can see here, is that they are few hundred cars per week.
