Waiting for delivery in Ontario

Im on the phone right now with a csr.... They said that my account didn't show that I had placed an order and that it is still in the reservation stage. I told them that I had ordered it, put a deposit in, and all the required info (drivers licence, trade in, finding etc). She's looking into it now.....

Ok. So she said that they do see my order, but that I haven't been assigned a DS, or a delivery date. She also can't give me an ETA, or whether my model 3 is in Toronto, on its way, or has even been manufactured yet......

I have a suspicion that their system screwed up and didn't even make my model 3 yet, which means it might be another 2 months before I get delivery.....
ugh -- hopefully they manage to sort something out..., but your signature shows you had a VIN assigned, is that "no longer" the case?

Oh man that is the worst.... surely there will be some people that fall through the cracks as they try to grow this quickly. I feel your pain. It must be so frustrating. I know how worried I was when I saw my VIN disappear. Sorry to hear :( But in a few months it will all be a distant memory.

yea. they removed the assigned vin weeks ago.

Oh man that is the worst.... surely there will be some people that fall through the cracks as they try to grow this quickly. I feel your pain. It must be so frustrating. I know how worried I was when I saw my VIN disappear. Sorry to hear :( But in a few months it will all be a distant memory.

honestly, when she said "so, you haven't configured yet, just reserved? I'm not seeing an order in your account", my heart sank. I really needed this car by mid June as I had alot of stuff planned that requires a vehicle. and with the possibility of the EVHIP credit disappearing, this gaff could potentially be costly.
 
I think if you have proof of your order of some kind, then even if the Ontario credit disappears you should have a case for getting that back, either from Tesla or form the Ontario Gov't. I bet it would be a painful process though...

Hopefully the person on the phone just didn't know what he/she was doing.

I were you, I will visit the Lawrence store and ask for who is in charge, and make formal complaint.

This *probably* won't help you, but also can't hurt, so you may as well try it -- go into the shop and select a charger, which will enable you to see your deleted VIN#. Call them back, say "this was my VIN#, what is the status on this vehicle?" Most likely it's been reassigned, but this might work if by some small chance your car simply got lost in the shuffle, and they may be able to find it if you give them the car tracking number.

I actually already ordered my wall charger. it's sitting in my condo as we speak. I also have a screenshot of the assigned VIN# that was given to me. I'll give them a call back tomorrow and see. like you said, it can't hurt....
 
For those picking up their cars at the international centre this week/weekend... have you received a finance contract and/or purchase agreement yet?

My Delivery Specialist says he's checking every day but still nothing and I'm picking up the car on the 2nd... is this what other people are seeing too?

We are scheduled for the 5th but since I don't have a branch to walk into to get a certified cheque I have to call my bank to get it mailed out. Seeing how we only have 3 business days left and we requested the documents 2 days ago I'm a bit concerned. I heard they're kind of behind.. some people are scheduled for tomorrow and still don't have the purchase agreement :(

Relax, my delivery date/time is tomorrow at 10am (Thursday), and I haven't gotten the information/docs yet.

Aren't you cutting it real close to the wire here if you need to rely on a mailed draft?

I have confirmed my Financing already and just got the following email from my Delivery Specialist "I will be sending out the Purchase agreement (bill of sale) for your delivery day tomorrow, it will also be signed on delivery day and provided if you need one then as well. =) "

My delivery is at 9am on June 1st at the International Centre.

Delivery this Friday, still no documents on Wednesday. They are cutting it pretty close!
