On Wednesday (3/15) I got a trade in text, any idea how long after that usually they assign VIN?

Finally got a VIN today! Scheduled for delivery 3/22!

I'm in Dallas and my credit union told me that Tesla requires a payment to be made in full prior to picking up. They will send wire 1 business day before pick up. I guess they've done a lot of loans with Tesla.

I am in Dallas too. What credit union are you using?

Finally got a delivery appointment on 3/27. I was hoping a little sooner, but fortunately I don’t fly out of town until that evening. It kinda sucks that I was only given one day to choose from.

It’s getting closer, yet seems further away now, lol.

Yeah. I thought it was supposed to be a three day window for pickup, but I only had the option to pick the 27th.

Thanks. I did just receive an email from my local Tesla Delivery Center saying "Did you know when you’re assigned a VIN, you have 3 days to take delivery once your vehicle has arrived and is ready?". Still no VIN though.

Hopefully it is WHEN this week and not IF. Fingers crossed for no more delays.

I was at a mall today with a Tesla showroom and SA there checked my order and the car is still showing Tampa arrival on 3/21. My pickup is scheduled for 3/24 as they say they need a day or two after the trucks drop off to get them ready. SA woke the car and refreshed GPS for me and the car is still sitting in Jacksonville. Likely at a logistics depot like this:

So much for mine showing up early. Yours may be sitting there too awaiting a truck to Ft. Myers. Absent some delay they should arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Yeah. I never even got an email. Just a text telling me to go assign it in the app (which just redirects you to the website, lol).
