White on White Interior Waiting is pain

I am planning to stop by a store before placing the order, just to see what the rep there has to say... I'm not particularly fond of the idea of getting an inventory model (which can very well be a refused delivery or return car...) but I can at least ask.

Make sure when you even order with sales rep, you must order through referral code in order to get the super charge. My guy added manually and I am not receiving it

Does your trunk look like this around all the edges with sloppy seam sealer on the inside? I don't know why, but it bothers me? I don't see it on the inside of any other panels on the car.

Noticed that the "Edit Design" button was gone so I decided to check the source code and found the VIN on my White on White LR AWD w/ 19" Sport Wheels (392,XXX) . Finally, what a big sigh of relief!

Funny thing was that I contacted the Tesla store in Salt Lake on Tues night to just change my config to a MSM w/ White Interior and he was able to match me with an inventory car. I looked through videos and pics of the color and MSM just didn't speak to me and there are quite common in my area. I regretted that decision so I emailed him to the next day to revert back to the original White on White config.

I figured I already waited this long so what the heck. I can't wait for delivery!

I’m assuming that must have been you I saw the other day then I’ve seen a few M3s around, but only 1 white and wasn’t able to see the interior as we passed. (Also in Meridian)

Like most everyone here I’m waiting - not so patiently, but trying. I’m certainly not complaining about the wait time yet though - I placed my order 12 days ago, so assuming I’ve got awhile to go

Curious about your timeframe between VIN and delivery? Also, how’d the delivery go?

Ordered on the 20th, so I probably still have a looong way to go. Been tempted to switch to an more readily available config, but I think this combo is worth the wait.

Bad thing is that I already sold my black/black LR RWD for this, so the wait is especially tough with no second car. Forced to drive a Prius until then. First world problems, I know. It’s actually pretty pathetic that I’m even complaining about such an absurd “problem”.

I order my White on White SR+ on the 16th and got my VIN yestrday. today I'm getting the insurance and loan paper work sent in. I would say wait for the White on White I think it looks amazing especially compared to the other color combinations.

I understand the first world problem Once I ordered I thought I’d post my current car for sale as well - did not expect it to sell in a day! So, I am now “stuck” driving my husband’s convertible camaro. I know many wouldn’t complain - I just don’t like driving it?!

I did check the source (searching for 5Y) and nothing
M3 AWD (non-P), pearl with white interior, FSD

My original order was an inventory car on 7/14 before the prices dropped so maybe the system is using that as my order date instead of when I changed to the white? Yeah, 5Yj pulled mine up.

Apparently my VIN is an inventory vehicle matched to me because it's like 4 hours away from my SC. 150 miles on it and it's 2-3 weeks old. They're gonna try to do a price adjustment of $1 mile mil I told them if we can do that I'm taking it.

Well that sucks?! The waiting is difficult, and you’ve had about 3 more weeks than I have.

I did receive an email yesterday explaining where and how to make my final payment once a VIN is assigned. I honestly thought the email was a scam. So I called (Tesla number) and oddly enough actually spoke with the guy that sent the email. He explained it wasn’t a scam, but still seemed off? The email said the carrier may deliver my car even if no one was home - really? Anyway, it appears I have a delivery specialist, just no matching car
