Whitney Tilson: Only Bubble Rivaling DDD Is TSLA

The Model S is an important EV but as a car, I reckon the i8 better in just about every way. We’ve much to discuss, so let’s jump right in.

    1. The i8 is sportier than the Model S
    2. The i8 is better looking than the Model S
    3. The i8 can travel further than the Model S
    4. The i8 is supported by a nation-wide network of dealerships
    5. BMW is cooler than Tesla

BA, HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Wow, I think I need to go digging through the couch so I can increase my position in TSLA. Maybe start walking dogs, pressure washing houses, etc.

The guy also thinks the Model X is the Gen III car that the i3 will "compete" with. How can you short a stock yet not even know what their next major product is?

If only this were the standard TSLA short... Well I just capitalized on some SCTY gains, guess it's time to dump more into TSLA ;) The short squeeze when it comes will be the same epic proportions. I mean covering ~$5B worth of short has to skyrocket the company.

Oh man I needed a good laugh. I really hope people don't trust this guy with too much money, he's going to lose so much of it for them.

I'm pretty sure Panasonic had a model S at CES? Anyway, his thoughts are so poorly structured I only read a few sentences and had to stop so I wouldn't lose any IQ points.

You know I listened to that interview and he claims when he entered his short position Tesla was within 2 weeks of bankruptcy and they needed to hit a home run and they did. That is his entire rationalization. I really don't think Tesla has been within 2 weeks of bankruptcy ever as a public company. Yes, in 2008 when they were private, but not since the IPO. It is funny how people rationalize their mistakes. I'm pretty sure I do the same thing so I don't blame him.
