X: What's your 90%?

My 90D 100% is 246 miles. That's before any serious trailering. We'll see where it lands after this current trip and the many 100% charges I'll need to complete it.
After a 4000 miles trip, including about 3500 miles of pulling a trailer at around 600Wh/mi, I'm still at 222 miles 90% and 246 miles 100%. The trip included a good number of 98-100% SOCs and a few sub-5% SOCs.

FYI. 17.24+ releases changed definition of a rated mile for some cars so comparing before and after numbers directly is not possible.
1 mile on X 100D now is 332Wh, but before it was defined as 324Wh. (X60D define is also changed, but I don't have one to see what is the new value).
This would lead to ~2.5% range drop with nothing changed in the battery just after the update.

MX 100D came with 271/303. After a month and 1300 miles 90/100 is 270/302.

After latest firmware 90% is 265. Just over 4500mi on the odo. Haven't charged to 100% yet since 17.26.76 but based on updated Wh/mi it's probably 295/6 which would put it on EPA sticker rating I guess. Part of me misses seeing >300 when I leave on a long trek, but at the same time it always felt not quite right so maybe this will be more in line.

Was on 17.17.17 firmware for 2 months and consistently getting 272 miles or about 437km for 90% on our 100D. Updated software tonight to 17.26.76 RR at 90% dropped to 427km or 265 miles. WTF??? I don't really care about the rated range anymore and will probably switch to % of battery for SOC. Was getting 488km or 303 miles on full charge before software update and I'll be doing a 100% charge tomorrow to see if the battery will balance out a bit, but I think it is more of a software tweak that degraded my battery than the way I charge my X.

On the otherhand, my 2015 prefacelift S90D with 28000km has stabilized at 406km at 90% compared to 414km when new after 1.5 years.

MX90D picked up 6/16/16. At 26,768 mi., 90% charged shows 217 RR. When new, 234. Raised concern with Service Center in Vegas,
and after they checked it, was told battery condition is good and no issues found. Any suggestions? Read a thread on battery care, and
somebody suggested keep battery charge level between 30-80% for daily use. On trips, don't try to charge to 100%. 90-95% would prolong battery life, additionally the last 5% takes up an inordinate amount of time!

Wow! I also picked up my 90D on 6/16/16 and we just cracked 27k miles this past weekend! My 90% is now 231. Your 217 seems low. I've read that you can get a better reading by driving to drain your battery as close to 0 miles range as your're comfortable with, then charge it to 100%, then back to zero (or as close as you can), then finally charge back to 90%.
