Just received the invite to apply to the VPP program. I received PTO from SCE back in October 2023. But the program seems different from what most here are describing. It's called the Tesla Virtual Power Plant with DSGS (Demand Side Grid Support program).
It no longer seems like the...
I had the opposite situation where Tesla’s trade in offer was $12K more than CarMax and $19K more than Carvana. This was for a 2019 Model X. The valuations seem to be all over the place for the X.
Finally got the VIN for my 1/10/21 order. Yesterday it moved to Dec 22 - Apr 23 and today it shows a VIN with a May 20-24 delivery window. Spreadsheet updated. I wonder if they will apply the $2K discount to my order like they promised when I converted my pre-refresh order. Anybody have any...
I guess I'm just a poor random soul as mine is Jan 10, 2021 order for 5 seater delivery to SoCal. I wonder if my config is rare? MXLR/5 seats/Black/Black/22s/No FSD.
Day 486 for me. When I originally ordered on Jan 10, 2021 the EDD was March 2021, but that was before the refresh announcement. I am currently showing July 2022.
Pre-refresh order. 1/10/21. 5 seats, black/black, 22s, no FSD. In SoCal. Currently still July EDD. No text or any other communication since order date. (When i first ordered, it said March 2021 delivery, Ha!)
Yes, same location. I stopped by yesterday and the area blocked off didn't look anywhere near large enough to accommodate 20 stalls, but maybe this is just the start and they will build out from there.
Taking deliver of a new X later today. VIN is 155,445. Option code lookup on ev-cpo says APH3 so I guess that means HW2.5 for me. I guess I'll know for sure after pick up.
X90 D, Built in March 2016. VIN is in the 1800s. 63,000 miles. My current 90% charge is 206. TeslaFi is reporting an estimated 100% charge of 229 which represents a 10.9% degradation. I have rarely charged to 100% and hardly ever use superchargers.
Interesting that this location does not show on Tesla’s supercharger map as coming soon. Only the Westlake Promenade supercharger is shown. Probably just a mixup given there are going to be two Thousand Oaks locations. Just surprised they aren’t taking credit for it on the map as it is clearly...
Went by today. No activity but the cardboard boxes with the “urban” super chargers are gone. No sign of them anywhere else on the property. The big wooden crates are still there.
I also doubt that any action can be taken. The signs at this location do not suggest that parking here is not permitted. The signs only state “Tesla Vehicle Charging”.
Had the same issue. Took it to the service center and they replaced the tire under warranty. I did buy the tires from the same service center so maybe that’s why they replaced it under warranty.
Construction well on its way!! Location is as identified previously. Looks like 10 supercharger cabinets on site , so it looks like it will be 20 stalls
Saw a pink model 3 today, Come on, somebody had to take a pictures at the Tesla LA Club event today in Agoura. I left my phone in the car so I couldn’t take pictures , but figured there would be others by now.
Stopped by the Commons today. Found 12 big Tesla crates in the back behind the stores, so I think that means 24 stalls? Not sure if this is going to be the exact location within the Commons, or just a holding area for now.
Interesting that this supercharger construction site on the Tesla supercharger site says opening soon. I think all the others, even those under construction, were rolled forward a year to say target opening by the end of 2018. But not this one. Must be coming online soon.
Get a quote from Tesla. I have had both of my side mirrors busted up backing out of my garage and the replacements from Tesla was very reasonable. And they were the entire assembly and included painting the new cap to match my car. Actually pretty reasonable considering all the technology...
I could see them putting a SC in the TO mall as well, but the Westlake Promenade is technically located in Thousand Oaks even though people refer to it as Westlake. So Tesla’s site seems to be accurate.
I responded no and am still a no. Tesla owner in California, but reserved on April 6, 2016 so it seems they are still working through those that reserved on day 1.
I haven't seen a big green utility transformer and the 12 supercharger cabinets are off to the side of the project and still in their wooden crates, so I think we are still a ways off.
While this center is a nice, high end location with plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment options, I really don't like the spot they picked within the center for these chargers. Perhaps there was no other option logistically, but these chargers are right next to the high-end cinema in...
I found it using that LA County DPW permit lookup system. If you click on the download permit data link found on that site you linked above and then click on the links for the permits issued in certain weeks you can see what I saw. Might need to control F to search because the files are...
Found a couple of new permits issued in LA County
One was issued on 10/3/17 for 12257 Heritage Springs Rd (Santa Fe Springs?) for a 12 station charger.
Another was issued on 9/14/17 for 21840 Normandie Avenue (Torrance) for a 24 station charger.
Contractor for both of these is Black and Veatch...
That's funny. Happened to me too. I had just got back into my car after lunch the other day and was sitting in the drivers seat checking on email before taking off. Got a notice right then that summons had started. I sat there for a minute waiting for my car to move. Then got a notice that...
