So interesting fact - I have 53,000 VIN but no delivery appointment. I reached out to Tesla and my car is still being built. I guess VIN numbers don't really correlate with build date. So you really can't judge VIN ranges and what your seeing in terms of other VINs in your range.

Tesla generally doesn't finance the state taxes and fees. You should have been paying that no matter what. Was that included in your loan?

Just call Tesla insurance. Give them your vin and they will do a quote via the phone. It will get added to your car. Tesla insurance is the cheapest. My M3 is half the price from my previous insurance at the same coverage.
