After entering my EDD window for the umpteenth time the usual Saturday check of my EDD shows me being kicked out to 9/15-10/6. Should that hold for some unknown reason, that would make it about a 15 to 16 month wait. My current EDD is actually my original EDD, just a year later.

Take your time when looking things over. I personally separated the issues that need to be addressed or noted at delivery from stuff that can be repaired when I got a comprehensive list together after driving it a while. Don't expect perfection and you won't be disappointed.

Happened to me too. In a email to order support, I made it known that it was very second rate to place our orders on hold, instead of just asking us if we were still going forward with delivery. That putting us on hold was insult upon injury. That it was just another way to deliver new orders...

Did you get any contact from Tesla, or this is strictly from the APP? My RN1151 order was out to Aug/Sept. Now the APP says I'm on hold and asking if I'm ready for delivery. Not sure what to make of this sequence of events.

The Pirelli summer rubber for the model S is a much better tire in most cases, as opposed to the Conti All-Season. Here in the Midwest, I basically resigned myself to the fact I'll be getting another set of wheels and rubber for winter. The selection of tires for the S is just so sparse.

If I had to bet, I'd be sure you'd take delivery before me. It's the $$$$'s pure and simple. I've seen plenty of my build being delivered all over the country, to newer(price increase) orders. I'm thinking there's a 2023 in my future. Perhaps!

I wouldn't make the assumption it's was rejected. I was offered a rejected car in December. The VIN was assigned as soon as I gave them the go ahead.

As far as the clips go, there are certain areas they won't enter in. In hindsight, I would of went around the opening to find all points of entry that were available, prior to getting the shade in place. As long as you have 2 each on the left, right, front and back somewhat spaced apart it's good.

I leave mine in all the time. I don't need the sun on my bald head:D. On the highway I usually have my windows closed. I haven't noticed any issues otherwise. I do recommend using the magnets to hold up the center section however.

My Plaid doesn't have the tilt and I'm fine with it. I felt my eyes were catching to much glare from the glossy screen. Got a matte finish glass screen protector and it's not an issue anymore. I guess someone might find it a useful feature, just not me.

Possible it was held up in a quality assurance area for a while.

I'm a bit surprised that you're still waiting for a VIN. I assume you ordered after the price increase and are Cali. If I were a betting man, I would of lost. What may I ask was your configuration? At least you'll be getting the tilt screen. I missed out on that. A non-issue for me actually.
