Supercharger - Calabasas, CA - Commons Way (LIVE 12 May 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

 People always think any delay is because V3 is coming. Every location where the installation experiences some sort of delay, someone says, "Maybe it's because they're going to install V3 chargers." Seriously, look in any thread for a site that experienced any delay before the hardware was in and you'll see comments and discussion almost exactly like the above. That's not the hold up and it's never going to be the hold up. The first installations of V3 chargers won't be at some random new site. They're waaaay more likely to be first installed at the Fremont Factory #2 supercharger location or as an upgrade to existing sites. After the unveiling and first announced install look for them to be put in along the I-5 corridor. With the rapidly expanding numbers of Teslas on the road Tesla can't be holding up installs just because they are on the cusp of rolling out new tech.

Although "they are waiting to deploy v3" is an interesting theory, it seems to clash with the fact that supercharger equipment is already in boxes on-site, and has been for the greater part of a year.
More likely that there's a hold-up with the host location or possibly a capacity issue with the electrical infrastructure (similar to what I suspect may be the cause of the hold-up at the Fontana location).

Still nothing...

Don't feel too bad or confused about Calabasas. The crates have been there for over 2 years. First time I saw the posting it said that it would be online by the end of 2017... Changed to end of 2018. This week, according to Tesla, the current (pardon the play on words) prediction for the site being alive is by the end of 2019. Not betting on it...
