Hi everyone, I got the answers from the company, related to the Alibaba price difference and why Tesla kits are more expensive than others.

I have no idea, either. From the image above, it looks like the cheaper one is the frunk, not the trunk. However, if they are running a promotion like that, apparently, I can have a pretty good reason to ask for a much deeper discount for orders having the trunk + frunk combo.

Just send to my personal email [email protected] the package you're interested, your name, your email, and your city + state (not full address, just city + state for the company to find a good installer near your area if possible).

Here is the response I get from the company. "Frunk can open in the screen, cannot close. The app and key fob can open/close without any problem. Unlike the trunk, we do not do any change in frunk signal to keep it in safety."

From the instruction manual, it looks like the frunk functions exactly like the trunk. So, if there is a signal to trick the system that the trunk is close, so you can close the trunk, there is no reason they wouldn't do that for the frunk to have the ability to open/close on the screen...
