Hurry up and wait….

GLOVIS SIGMA She continues to lie at anchor off the Isle of Wight and will do until Thursday morning.
The plan is for her to start unloading her Tesla cargo on Thursday afternoon.

GLOVIS CLIPPER She is currently just 250nm SW of Lands End and will be within terrestrial AIS range later today. I will post the final Atlantic progress chart for her later. She is due to arrive in Zeebrugge tomorrow evening. According to the updated Zeebrugge port schedule she is now due to depart at 14:00 on Friday and so if she is coming to Southampton it should be on Saturday 19th. However, since GLOVIS SIGMA will have just unloaded, there is unlikely to be any free real estate available, and so in the complete absence of any planning by Tesla, she will have to wait too. She does not feature on the Southampton port schedule at all at the moment.

There is something seriously wrong with Tesla management - this is big money going needlessly down the drain.

I drove past the docks earlier today. FWIW there seems to be bags of space available for parking cars in the Western Docks, the parking lots that are visible are mostly empty. There are though a couple of cruise liners parked up where the Tesla ships dock, maybe they’re slowing things down? Though that said there was nothing else obvious docked bar the two cruise ships this morning.

Hi - thanks for doing this. Will you be tracking boats coming in from Asia?

Yes but not all of it is available to Tesla

Interesting turn of events. Am seeing all the Model S/X unloading in Antwerp. The drive units are also unloading there, despite the delivery location being Rotterdam. So it looks like transport from Belgium to Tilburg.
We saw RCC ASIA possibly do a drop off or maybe a pickup in Antwerp after partially unloading in Zeebrugge before heading to Southampton.
Didn't make sense then and still doesn't now....

Not much has changed today. I was on the road today and saw quite a few transporters northbound on the A34 loaded with Model 3s and the odd Model S too.

GLOVIS SIGMA continues to lie at anchor off the Isle of Wight.
The plan is for her to leave the anchorage early tomorrow morning and head in to the Eastern docks and then later at about 4pm move across to the Western docks and only then start unloading her Tesla cargo.

GLOVIS CLIPPER spent the day having a gentle cruise up the English Channel. She is due to dock in Zeebrugge late tonight and will leave Zeebrugge at 10pm on Friday night. She has still to appear on the Southampton port schedule.

Thursday update.

GLOVIS SIGMA She left her anchorage earlier this morning and is now alongside in Southampton Eastern docks. The plan is for her to move to the Western docks at 16:00 this afternoon and then begin unloading her Tesla cargo.

GLOVIS CLIPPER She eventually entered Zeebrugge just after 1am last night and was alongside about an hour later. Clearly there is no rush with this ship. According to the updated Zeebrugge port schedule she is now due to depart at 22:00 on Friday and so if she is coming to Southampton it should be on Saturday 19th. However, since GLOVIS SIGMA will have just unloaded, there is unlikely to be any free real estate available, and so in the complete absence of any planning by Tesla, she will have to wait too.
