Really informative post - thanks. I got my VIN matched last Friday (17th Jan) but advised not on current ship to UK as vehicle still in California (my spec is SR+ in Deep Blue Metallic with White interior); guessing it might get shipped then on Feb 26th?

Sailings from Pier 80 will be almost weekly until around Feb 26.

Mine showed up when I checked the source code this morning. CTRL+F and 5YJ should reveal it, if it's there. Not sure it means that the car is definitely on the ship, mind.

Great thread, thanks all. With apologies to Mr M (question not about shipping), how long did it take after ordering for your VINs to appear?
(I ordered my model X on 27/12/19, no VIN yet)

I wasn't aware until yesterday that if there is a VIN it is in the source code for the "manage" page, SussexYorkie has explained how to view that, but if you don't fancy looking through that there is a Chrome Tesla VIN plugin which you can google for and download, which will tell you (when you click the little Tesla icon on the bar) if you have a VIN. I ordered at the end of December (2019 ;)) and my VIN is there, no idea how long it has been there, so not sure if it means my car is in production, sat in the dock (of the bay) or on its cruise here. But either way, makes it a bit more real.

Thanks Menzic. I also learned about the source code yesterday but no vin yet. I’ll be checking it daily - Hopefully it’ll pop up soon! Good luck everyone with your orders

I’m pretty sure model X are built to order and therefore you are likely to be waiting much longer than the model 3.

The Glovis Challenge is still loading at Pier 80 and is not due to depart until 0500 local on Saturday (25th).
This will mean an arrival at Zeebrugge, assuming its heading there, around 15 Feb.

    thanks for this excellent thread.

According to someone I spoke to at Tesla today, there are 2 ships en route that will dock at southampton sometime around 5th Feb. My car is on one of those. Can you give clarity on which ships these are as I got a little lost with where we are at!

Word on the street is that most of these are LHD, unless I've got mixed up.

Yes, I'd read that too but if you read a little further back you will see there were lots of RHD cars on the dock.
So don't get too downhearted. Unless of course you want a white interior!

Nope, 'standard' LR white for me. There's a chance mine is on that boat, unless they've all been VIN matched. As far as I know, I have not yet been so, so who knows at this point...

Unless the MO has changed, the ships will go to Zeebrugge and from there the cars are shipped to Southampton.

Glovis Cosmos is the 1st ship
Glovis Challenge will probably be the 2nd.

    Nothing around 5 Feb
