Just idly wondering... GLOVIS CAPTAIN is scheduled in to 104 on Saturday am and to move within the docks Saturday pm.

Does that suggest a smaller than usual consignment of Teslas coming off, possibly because it’s the last of the quarter, or is that a normal amount of time for the unloading?

AM and PM are pretty vague, that could be a 24 hour window or it could be closer to 36 hours. I'd like to think they know what they're doing over there, they've had enough practice by now!

Cheers, I was just curious really about how many cars there might be compared to the last few ships, this being the last for a while.

Given that there's been a few people on here told that their cars were left on the dock at Fremont because of overbooking, I'd say it's full.

Depending on how many LHD versions were dropped off in Zeebrugge - I know Mr Miserable has given approximations based on draught before.

This is what I saw Tesla's Fremont factory forced to shut down under shelter-in-place order

No official announcement, but from what is "leaking out" it appears that Elon has twisted the Sheriff's arm into allowing a skeleton crew, so some activity is continuing at the factory.

Glad I'm not the only sad git watching the inventory models to see what compromises I might need to make once I know the fate of my current order(s) - anyone know why the ones with "Fleet Vehicle" seem to be predominately cheaper for their spec than those without that?

EVENING UPDATE

GLOVIS CAPTAIN remains at anchor off the Isle of Wight.
The only good news is that her docking time has come forward to 02:30 on Sat morning.
This is in effect as soon as PROMETHEUS LEADER departs.
It's a little frustrating however that 104 has been empty all day and that PROMETHEUS LEADER is not due to occupy 104 until 23:00 tonight.

Meanwhile in Fremont the factory has been ordered to shutdown by the County Sherriff under the local Shelter-in-Place order. The Sheriff insists that the factory is not an "essential business' and should shut down whilst Tesla is describing itself as 'a national critical infrastructure'. Whatever, it seems that car production will grind to a halt. Tesla have offered to produce ventilators for the US government but whether fart mode will be included amongst the 'easter eggs' has yet to be determined.

What is a Fleet Vehicle then?

I don't know, but if I spec the same car up as a new order it comes out £12k more. Some have less significant differences but it seems like a huge saving on normal purchases, and they weren't around until very recently...

Called Tesla and was connected with a helpful agent in the UK. My X is still stuck in Tilburg and due to a lack of resources they are struggling with deliveries. The shipping route was confirmed by RORO from Rotterdam to Southampton, so at least we know how model X & S' arrive in the UK from Tilburg.
