Does anyone know if the upgrade will reflect in the Vin number search? And do I have to call the insurance company to reflect the changes? Will this change insurance premiums?

Your car will be worth at least $2000 more as a 75.I'm on the fence about it. I really don't NEED the upgrade, but I'm worried about missing out on it in the morning if the price changes.
So this means that the residual value of my 75d that I bought in Jan 2017 just went down by 7-8k?Your car will be worth at least $2000 more as a 75.
Unfortunately that is true, but only if you were planning to sell soon.So this means that the residual value of my 75d that I bought in Jan 2017 just went down by 7-8k?
I updatedthis morning. Took all of 2 minutes to update. The future is here!
I'd be upset if I had bought a 75 or the upgrade. New price is $2000 for the upgrade and a new 75 is only $1500 more than the old 60. Tesla just got my $2000 plus tax and I assume almost everyone with a 60 will follow suit.
How long until the convention automakers can pull this off?! I bet it takes them years (if ever). They might be dinosaurs by then.I updatedthis morning. Took all of 2 minutes to update. The future is here!
Woke up and saw the news and thought I would definitely buy it. Then I made the mistake of telling my wife about it .
Apparently, just because I have never needed the extra range in the 8 months I have owned the car means I shouldn't just immediately throw $2k at Tesla. Not pulling the trigger immediately, but it is very, very tempting. Without her throwing logic at me I would have already bought it.
Hi everyone can some one explain to me why it cost more on the X then the S to upgrade? 2K on the S 6.5k on the X
Same over the air upgrade!
Same thing here. She reminded me that I said during one of my daily Tesla briefings to her that I would never upgrade the battery until it was $500. Now I want a 75 badge. 2k just seems like it is still too much for something that I will still never hit. I have never been below 100 miles. Ugh thanks for listening Tesla family.Woke up and saw the news and thought I would definitely buy it. Then I made the mistake of telling my wife about it .
