P100DL - Raven
I imagine that they would be, but hopefully, they are very inconspicuously attached, and/or have some kind of locking mechanism.

I like the Tesla wheel better than the Honda wheel. I also like the fake spokes. Don't change a thing Tesla!
Absolutely. Much classier. The Tesla design kinda sucks, really. I also think both could be improved.I hate to say it, but Honda's look better! IMO
As long as we're talking tweaking aerodynamics, anyone think there might be an aftermarket for rear fender skirts? Ugly, yes, but would reduce drag. EV1 had them:

Thanks for posting those. The performance wheels look much darker than I thought which is nice. Aero wheels look ok.
Hrmmm, hrmmm. The shiny plastic disk on the aeros doesn't do it for me. If the black shininess were replaced with matte anodized aluminum, I'd be on board.

I think so too. It looks like it has the same level of "shininess" as the performance wheels in the back. It just looks "plasticy" because the disk is flat.I think it's all metal, just painted.
It doesn't look "modern" enough. Reminds people of the hubcaps in cars in the 80s/90s. Although the 928 wheels look pretty good for what they are.You guys have to check out this Prius w/old Porsche 928 wheels. Aero, and stylish and a very retry way.

Why can't anyone make an aero wheel that looks like that any more?
A note to everyone talking about snap-on aero wheels, I'm pretty sure no such option exists from Tesla. As noted earlier, these pictures are just of mock-ups so people could get an idea of the design. The actual aero option will be a full wheel.
