It doesn't show the LR at all. I have spoken to them again. Looks like they are looking into it. I was told maybe later in the day or tomorrow I should be able to change it to LR.

Irrespective I was told I will hold my position in the queue based on my original OD. Hope that is the case.

Same strong smell in my MYP. Strong enough to give me a headache within a few minutes.
I am leaving the windows down and the rear garage door open when parked at home. The smell seems to be receding.

Four days with the windows down (even when driving) the smell is now down to the 'regular' new car smell.

Same battery for MYP and MYLR but the performance has slightly upgraded motors. Not sure if this is hardware or software though. Hence LR has longest range As the performance motors suck more juice.

The staggered 21" wheels on the P have a small range hit too

All Model Y have been coming with USS so far this year from what people have been saying/showing, including '23 builds. Some people are saying it's mandatory in China but unable to confirm as there was a demonstrator in Aus that didn't have them and also at least one M3 didn't come with them.

I know that Model S/X that just started delivery in China came without USS (they ask you to sign a acknowledgment that car has no USS when taking delivery).

I doubt it. There will be a lot of jumpers from RWD to LR, and MYP to LR, especially as the white LR without other additions does not incur LCT.
Watch out for inventory for MYRVD to appear.

It may actually make getting the RWD a lot quicker??

Yes, that's what happened to people who gave up on waiting for the Model Y Performance and switched to the RWD.
They were allocated a car based on their original order date not the date they changed.

I spoke to two different guys. Both were telling me I just have to wait for the option to appear online to change, in other words they can't change it.

The 1800 number asks for a postcode and then apparently routes the call to the local tesla store. It seemed like my call went to NSW or somewhere else as they seemed to be surprised that I was from Canberra. Both the guys told me the EDD is June - July. I told them it is showing May - June online. They were adamant it is June - July. Don't know what to make of it. The joys of tesla buying process, hope their car software is better than their website.
