Good evening Tesla Motors Club members and lurkers.
2023 Tesla Model 3, Long Range, 2023.20.7, no FSD. Car goes stupid, consistently, driving on I66 Express lanes outside the Beltway in the DC area.
We occasionally drive I66 in the greater DC metro area, from the Beltway out to Dulles and back. Now that the Express lanes are available we use that. The Express Lanes seem to appear in the Tesla GPS map but it doesn't show us driving on them, and the directions it provides don't use them (it assumes we're in the regular lanes). While using Autopilot with Traffic Aware Cruise Control, the car, along this stretch of road, consistently acts weird. It will change the maximum speed it's set to (and it's set not to change its speed based on the speed limit, I want it to go to the speed I set it to), and it will also just brake occasionally for no reason whatsoever without changing its set speed ("phantom" braking). It was so bad today, and we saw another Tesla seemingly doing it too, that we decided to count the occurrences on the way back toward the Beltway.
Over the (according to Google Maps) 9.7 mile stretch between VA 28 and I495, it changed the set speed from the set speed I had picked (potentially slightly above the 70 MPH express lane speed limit) to 60 MPH, to 30 MPH, to 55 MPH, to 77 MPH, a total of six times. An additional one time it phantom braked without changing its set speed.
I see a number of historical notes about this type of behavior:
It seems like this may occur because the car thinks it is trying to slow down for a turn or an exit because the map data is inaccurate (I do experience the car slowing itself down every day I drive to the office at one point of the drive, it changes down by 5 MPH in the exact same spot every day).
I have looked through the support page for Autopilot and Full Self Driving and at the bottom there is a Contact Us link. Clicking that takes me to a login page. When I log in it gives me a menu to select an issue, so I select Vehicle App and Features, Autopilot and Full Self Driving. It gives me a set of links that may help me. One of those is the same link I came from. I click it and it takes me back. It's a damn loop. How can I contact support about this? I was able to bug them about the wall connectors being stupid, for some reason they have a dedicated support email for that, but not for the actual cars??
Anyone have any ideas on this?

Sudden Slowing and Cruise Control Speed Change
I took my first "longish" trip yesterday--200 miles each way up to San Jose to have a hitch installed on my Model 3. On three occasions (twice going up and once coming home) this happened: My cruise control is set for 9 miles over the speed limit (69, 74 or 79), I'm on a divided highway, and...

Possible to deactivate TACC and use "regular, dumb" cruise control? Phantom braking & unexpected slowdowns
Hi folks. Driving a 2019 Model 3 in Norway. Cruise control is largely unusable to me. Is it possible to change the settings such that the traffic-aware cruise control just governs the speed and uses no "safety" features? I am getting both unexpected slowdowns and have experienced phantom braking...

Sudden Autopilot Max Speed Reduction
Over the weekend I drove a fair amount of mainly highway and used autopilot nearly the whole time. During the first trip and on the second leg (after stopping to supercharge) the car had a few instances of sudden reduction in Max Speed as indicated on the display. I know phantom braking is an...

Autopilot set speed randomly changes
Since the latest software update, my "max speed" on autopilot is randomly changing (both down AND up) when driving on the highway where the speed should of course be fixed. This is happening again and again on the same drive. I was on the LIE today (55MPH, no construction etc) and the set...
