Dont worry. I too am told that Tesla will give me a MVPA only 3 days prior to delivery date. Since my delivery date was following a long weekend, I told my ISA that my bank will not cut me a check without an MVPA. They sent me one through email, just didn't upload it on portal ever
It seems that if you point out that you *actually require* an MVPA or a VIN before delivery for legal reasons (financing/registration/insurance/etc) -- something some, but not all, people need -- then *most* of the "delivery specialists" will actually get it to you. The incompetent ones won't, though, and then you have to escalate to their manager.

Still waiting on the replacement roof for our Model 3 that is just sitting in Westmont IL waiting to be delivered.

So today get a call from the Service Department leaving a message that the roof has arrived and that I should call to schedule an appointment for me to bring the car in for the roof glass to be replaced.

Yes our car that hasnt been delivered. I know likely no big deal, but wish they would know they already have the car because they never delivered it to us.
Yeaaaah, I would call the service department and ask them to pick up the car from Westmont.

Received first email from Vegas. My car is in transit for home delivery near Rochester, NY. Asked for verification of my info but I received no other info.

REGISTERED 2016?
Configured 6/18

Non P AWD, white, aero wheels, black interior, FSD.

I'm in Rochester, NY as well. Deposit June 2017. Config June 30, 2018. Same specs as your car. No word yet from Tesla. Have you paid the balance already?

Yep I just mentioned I needed it to add to my insurance and received the VIN the same day as my request.

I also had a great IDA who helped me get a signed copy of MVPA for my credit union and even made sure I got a delivery date that matched my vacation schedule. I think the car arrived earlier than it was supposed to, but they kept the car in my name for an extra day. Great experience overall, a little stressing trying to get everything set up as most of it is being done by me instead of a car dealership, but once delivery happens and you drive off. It’s all good.

I haven’t been able to update my delivery date on the spreadsheet, hopefully one day I will. Took delivery aug 27th.

My credit union doesn't pay me, it pays Tesla. Consequently I won't have financing for the car until/unless they know what car they are financing.. As for 10 mins from carrier to me won't work. I want sales person at delivery point to insure me car is, indeed, ready for purchase.

I don't believe so, what would you like to know? My guess, it's sequential as, at least in theory, they are processed in reservation sequence and if there were no sequence, that would be tough to accomplish.
Actually, all the way back to the day after reveal it was clear the RN number we have is not a sequential number. It was randomized. We all assumed that it was likely date stamped at the time of the transaction of $1000. That said, for many on day 1, the actual transaction was processed up to 3 days later due to the high volume of reservations that came in. Mine included. Mine still shows a 1 day delay on their system from when reservation was made.

People spent months trying to decode the RN number sequence and failed.

I probably got the same rep when I called today. I was lectured and he wanted to hang up on me and not letting me to ask questions. I asked for his supervisor and he purposely put me on hold and then told me is there any else I need. I told him I wanted to talk to his supervisor. He then hung up on me. I called back and asked for a supervisor to report on him.

Yikes. No CS job history, eh?

God forbid that the rep you called and spoke to, that works for a company that has two more vehicles in its fleet and other products, was attempting to get rid of you due to it being yet another person asking questions to which nobody really has answers to, and progress which you can check on the website. They have other customers with problems to take care of, and all that these phone calls do is create a clog in their call queue for actual owners to call in with real issues. Please report him, so that Tesla potentially fires an employee that could have helped someone else take delivery or do something, just because you didn't get to hear "I don't have an update" on the phone.

Any updates, were you able to take delivery today?

Hi - YES! Took delivery at 8a on Tuesday. Car is fantastic. Picked up at the Fremont delivery center. 8 am is great, since they are no longer backlogged. My Fremont experience was pretty typical, the car wasn't detailed great, I would say 95% with a glue spot in the back seat (removed) and some dust and materials on the dash. It wasn't what I would call dirty, just obviously not completely detailed. I do recommend doing a complete inspection of the wheels, gaps, (particularly with the glass roof) and panel gaps. Mine was quite good, although there is an imperfection (looks like paint flake) under my paint the paint about 1/4 cm on the trunk lid that I'm having tesla review and have brooks motor cars (the Fremont body shop) look to see if it makes sense to repaint the trunk lid for that. I recommend not letting them take your car to the back for small defects like that - the detail shop there is very rushed and focused more on speed than quality. Body shop was closed at that 8-8:30 pickup time on Tuesday, maybe they are more detailed, but for small things that are not worth rejecting like mine taking it to a full-time body shop with a good reputation is more likely to do a quality job. Overall car is fantastic! ...with the Fremont delivery center still not providing a Tesla-like experience.

No VIN and no contact from anyone yet.
3/31/16 res, 7/9/18 config, LR AWD PUP MSM/Black int. Aero Cash Portland Oregon, on spreadsheet as brent
When I click the spreadsheet link, it just appears to ask me to enter in all new info. How do I edit the spreadsheet, once I finally get some kind of new information?

I did not think of that... excellent point made, milliseconds past midnight 1970/1/1, UTC. That would be fairly easy to reverse engineer in order to vet.
Thanks! Still, sequential.

Thanks for the update! Taking delivery of my 3 tomorrow in Fremont. I got an afternoon slot, so I expect it to be pretty busy. Excited though :)
