CHAdeMO adapter wait frustration

Source please, in reference to CCS maxing at 25kW?

Also, I haven't made it to the end of this thread yet, but if you surf over to Chademo.com it very clearly states that the max theoretical charging rate for Chademo is 50kW.

He's talking about something else. BMW and others announced they were installing 25 kW Combo (CCS/CHAdeMO) and 50 kW (CCS ONLY) stations. Nothing to do with max CHAdeMO or CCS.

I asked yesterday for my position in the waiting list :

Dear -------,

We at Accessories Team have the only Waitlist now what contains all waitlists around the world.
Maybe some people got they position on the individual lists but this means nothing any more since we collected all of them together.

We push really hard to have this delivered as soon as possible but due to the constantly changing situation we hold back this information what does not indicate any time frame for customers and would only confuse people when they would start to match them on the forums.

Very soon there will be no waitlist for Chademo Adapters any more.

I got some pricing from ChargePoint for L3 Chargers:

DC Fast Charger Stations(level 3):

BMW (*SAE Combo): $13,5000
Efacec (*CHAdeMo and SAE Combo): $38,143
Fuji (CHAdeMO): $30,000
Nissan (CHAdeMO): $15,500

*SAE Combo: compatible with BMWi3, VW eGolf, Chevy Spark
CHAdeMO: compatible with Nissan Leaf, Misubishi MiEV, Kia Soul EV

All of the 50 kW CHAdeMO units need 3-Phase, 480V at 90 Amps or so. If only 208 is available, I found a 208 to 480 transformer that is a little over $3,000 and would require 3-phase, 208V at 200 Amps. With this kind of power needed, installation will obviously add additional expenses to the basic equipment costs above.

They need to add another * there too "CHAdeMO: compatible with Nissan Leaf, Misubishi MiEV, Kia Soul EV, Tesla model S with adaptor"

Yes! I emailed my service advisor in Vancouver. He put me on the list 2 days ago. I got the initial waitlist email yesterday, and was cleared off the list today and ordered! I have no shipping confirmation or tracking info yet, but delighted to be on the road for ownership of this semi-mythical beast!

You managed to jump the queue, then, vs. US orders - good on ya! I put myself on the list a couple of weeks ago and have not been invited. Might want to keep the queue jumping to yourself. :)

Quite innocent, I assure you. I just did as I was told.

I have a feeling the dam may be about to break, and I just got really lucky on the latency timing.
