Got it in white. My vin assigned today shows as a 2023 unfortunatelyCongrats, did you get a 2024 or 2023 VIN? Just let us know the 10th digit of the VIN
Interesting. Did you get FSD transfer? I ordered exact same car as you, also near Los Angeles, but I ordered 2 days before you.Got it in white. My vin assigned today shows as a 2023 unfortunately
Feels like there is truly no rhyme or rythem to how they are assigning these. I ordered Sep 1 right away in the morning and still no VINInteresting. Did you get FSD transfer? I ordered exact same car as you, also near Los Angeles, but I ordered 2 days before you.
If it’s a 2023, just reject the vin when it comes. They’ll assign you another vin in 2-3 weeks and by then it might be a 2024.Ahhh damn really? Man this bums me out was really hoping for a 2024, but my EDD quickly approaching
It’s an option, but they might need a very good reason for rejecting VINs cause they will anticipate some people doing this?If it’s a 2023, just reject the vin when it comes. They’ll assign you another vin in 2-3 weeks and by then it might be a 2024.
Wondering if they are still using the MSRP from last year at the CA DMVs? Anyone that took delivery recently confirm the amount?Prob because the MSRP for the model S is roughly twice the model Y. At least a year ago it was, and I’m thinking the DMV is still using those numbers.
Dang thought I was safe everyone else was saying Oct was when they roll out the new Model Year I ordered 9/20 in hopes of a 24.That might have been for European deliveries. US 2023 vin didn’t show up until the first week of November.
Yes interested to know as well would really suck to have to pay higher reg every year because of old cost basis.Wondering if they are still using the MSRP from last year at the CA DMVs? Anyone that took delivery recently confirm the amount?
Based on the MVPA of my failed delivery attempt back on 9/11, the tax, registration, and license fee was accurate to my estimate using the DMV calculator for a vehicle purchase price of $89,990 for MXP with no additional upgrades.Wondering if they are still using the MSRP from last year at the CA DMVs? Anyone that took delivery recently confirm the amount?
I read the article. Still a little lost. Are you suggesting that my MX has FSD pre installed but some other software on my car is so new that it doesn’t work with it so in effect, I need to wait for another FSD beta software push to be sent to my vehicle?Tesla delivering cars with FSD installed, no update required
Tesla seems to be delivering its vehicles with the Full Self-Driving beta pre-installed, according to new reports.www.teslarati.com
Looks like you're beyond the latest Beta release (2023.32.6) and you'll need to wait for the next release, can't roll down, only up.
This might be the first FSD transfer after 9/30? So they will have you fill out paperwork for FSD transfer rather than use the app to do it?Like so many, my Model X didn't make it before the end of the quarter. Was happy to finally get something official from Tesla to confirm we can still transfer FSD. Had to sign a new FSD transfer agreement, but should be all set now. Still amazed at getting FSD transfer and a tax credit on a sub-$80k Model X.
New vehicles are loaded with a stable build. They are usually ended in .100. You need the fsd build to catch up. They did that I think a month or two ago. You can check teslafi firmware section for that.I read the article. Still a little lost. I’m hoping to use the 3 month free trial, but I’m wondering if I just click subscribe for $199 would it just instantly turn on like the article suggests?
We picked ours up 9/20 and FsD beta software was pushed to us this past weekend. It worked so well that I’m contemplating purchasing it. I have a M3 with enhanced auto and it’s so much better with FSD.I read the article. Still a little lost. They don’t care for your reason. The vin gets passed on to the next customer. A few people do it and it’s because they are on vacation or out of town etc…It’s an option, but they might need a very good reason for rejecting VINs cause they will anticipate some people doing this?
I’m pretty sure if I sell my 22 MSP and buy a new MSP my new registration would be cheaper. The DMV is prob not sophisticated enough to use the updated msrpWondering if they are still using the MSRP from last year at the CA DMVs? Anyone that took delivery recently confirm the amount?
At least you got an offer, I don't even have a Tesla trade-in offer on my 2019 MX 100D. Not a peep from Tesla. My EDD was made sooner than it was
Trade in:
Tesla was only saying $37k for my 2019 Standard Range Raven.
CarMax wants to see it. Carvana is offering $44,500.
Car Guru doesn't want to buy it, but thinks I can list it for $48k.
I hate selling cars anymore with all the scammers and nonsense, etc. but money is money... ugh.
Your ok as long as you ordered by the 30th and completed tasks on the appHmm, the way I interpreted that chat message is that you're okay as long as you currently have a vehicle/VIN assigned then the delivery date doesn't matter for FSD transfer
VIN received this morning, 2023 Model Year "P"New movement for me today as well....
