So it seems some can change and others can’t…maybe if you’re close to your production date (part of the next batch?) they don’t allow it? But I would think then they wouldn’t allow any other color either. Bizarre…
Dang that sucks but it does appear to be slimming down the range within dates though. Silver lining.

Generally, you batch by color, because changing the color in a painting both is a big, expensive, operation. (Unless of course you have multiple lines , one for each color.)
I don't think there is enough difference between a plaid and a LR to require them to be batched separately. (Unless there was a parts supply issue, like maybe they don't have enough carbon fiber wrapped motors for the Plaids.)

9/11 order. Nov 5 - Dec 10. Based on the tracker it looks like Tesla is still sorting through the orders placed in the first week of September.

what was the price on 9/8? i got a poverty edition on 9/22. i just went to my tesla account on my computer and modified the reservation.
Dang we’re right next to each other. I ordered 9/9 with confirmation 9/10. My Edd hasn’t changed yet, still Oct 31-Dec 5… nervous…
I have 78k miles. I did have repair done after a guy hit me slow motions at a stop light. His foot slipped off brake and hit gas. They just had to replace the bumper because of the bend mark. I had it done because my rear camera quite working a few days after. I also have powdered coated wheels they are flat black. I don't know why they came in so low. But it was pretty depressing. I might just buy the Rivian R1S used once I sell mine. I have a few offers in the low 30's.

While I'm waiting for that elusive VIN thing to actually happen, I picked these up.
Look/feel very factory, but for all 4 wheels.
Also seem to be specific for 2022+.
I'll also PPF the front area and rear door areas. then call it a day.

You just made me $50 poorer by reading your post.
It was the Plaid price today minus $5k. I don’t think the non plaids have changed price. Yeah it won’t let me click the stealth gray, it just does nothing. The other colors work.
