Oh good point. We ordered red. I have no idea what’s popular and not. I’d assume black is the most popular on account of price, but I could very well be wrong!

You’d think red would be quite high up the delivery priority list as it’s almost £2k additional cash in the Tesla account for very little cost. I know that “multi-coat” may be more costly than standard paint but it’s still mainly margin for Tesla.

I've only seen one list of orders, and it only has 100 orders, so extrapolating it is risky!

As statistically invalid as the sample might be, it’s still interesting.

I’m surprised more didn’t go for Pearl White. That’s almost on a par with the red for me.

Tesla too apparently, there were enough White in the first batch (manufactured before order book opened) that later orders got lucky

Checking the Telsa account 10 times a day for the hidden VIN really does pay off.

Since P- and LR AWD are physically the same cars, my guess is that the following options are causing further delays (in order of popularity):

* 19" wheels
* White interior
* Tow bar

If you have a confirmed VIN for a LR AWD with any of these options, or a P- with white interior, please let us know!

Wish I'd written an APP that would do that every 10ms ... and charged a £Tenner for it. Hindsight is great for business planning

I have also a VIN in the source code since this morning.

Reserved in April, ordered 4th June. M3 P-, blue, black interior.

I guess I will start to track Triumph Ace, just in case.

Still no VIN but I have had a call asking if I'll be available for delivery in August.

Eeeeek! VIN still there just now, but who knows for how long.

Apparently an error on Tesla’s part. They were being allocated incorrectly (not based on reservation etc). Someone called and was told this when his vin disappeared.
