Not sure anyone can really answer that for you.. each method has pros and cons and price differences. You kinda have to weigh them all yourself to see what's the best fit for you.
Took me about 4 hours. Just did my new Model 3 also. Took the center caps off before I sprayed to have the little silver T I can get rid of anytime I want.
What you can do is apply carpro Hydro2. Spray on rinse off. It works super well and is super hydrophobic. Lasts for about 3 months in my testing but I coat it twice. Takes 15 mins per car.
Car looks great. I just got a P100D in deep blue and did the Xpel Stealth over it. I'd love to see how the 2 compare in person. I'm in CT also, south central.
I sold that P85+ back in 2017, and it was holding up well when I sold it. But I've since repeated the process on my P85D+ (see link below) also in 2017, and it's now three years later and it looks like it was done yesterday. Very happy with the results. Also, there are newer and better "Autoflex" products out there, but I have no experience with them.
