I just received an email from my SA indicating that I need to accept a change to my MY-LR delivery before they can proceed with assigning me a VIN. Basically, the text of the acceptance is that since Tesla is moving to a vision-only system, that certain safety features are temporarily disabled...

As of April 19, 2022, there were 122,967 Teslas registered in the entire state of Texas.

There were 121,080 Teslas registered in California in 2021 alone.

Texas is not very Tesla or EV-friendly state. Even before I decided to order a Tesla, I spent wasted a lot of time correcting misinformation and misconceptions about EVs locally. All too often, EVs get "coal-rolled" or vandalized here.

Not going to lie, I have seen a ton of Tesla's on the road in DFW lately.

Update. Major development. I’ve been monitoring inventory on waitingfortesla.com and guess what found the closest match locally and I jumped on it. Called Tesla and switch my order to white/white performance Y without the hitch. I’m taking delivery next Monday.

I had the same thing tonight. Got confirmation of my VIN from SA today but doesn’t show in app and my EDD is TBD.

hi. they will run your credit first. "You never get denied for auto loan". They will let you know how much your down payment base on your income, and then you gonna accept their down payment requirement for the loan.

EDD just updated from 2/23-3/23 to 3/6-3/20. At least it’s a shorter window now. Fingers crossed I get a VIN in the next few days

My original order was a white performance Y, but with black interior and tow hitch. Now I’m taking delivery of a white/white without hitch. All in all Im spending 1300 more if I decide to get the hitch installed at the dealer later on.

I just accepted the Tesla vision agreement. No changes on the EDD still TBD.

Is the order deposit refunded if one doesn't accept the agreement? I'm guessing the answer is a big 'NO'. Just curious as I plan to accept it. I think Tesla is trying to head off a class action suit.

Just had the same thing. It was for Vision agreement. Notice went away after acknowledging no uss.

4k. In my opinion MYP does not offer the value for money for that extra 4k. Other than slightly better acceleration, parts like spoiler, brake caliper covers and aluminum pedals can be installed DIY for no more than 1k. Also MYLR has better suspension and ground clearance

My original EDD was 2/10-3/10. Then got pushed back to 2/15-3/15 then 2/23-3/23. For me the EDD updated the day after the start of the EDDs. I really hope no more EDD delays and actually get a VIN soon
