Also, just installed a Thinkware f750 dash cam with the back camera as well. It really takes 3 hours :(
Super nice! The cam, did you do it yourself? Was thinking about Blackvue dual cam but not sure I want to venture to do it myself.

Was the delivery in Zurich?

Yes, did the camera myself. Winced a bit drilling the hatchback, bit it was the easiest way to install the rear one. Car goes in for paint protection tonight, I should have it back by Wednesday...

Delivery was in Cham, as it's a bit easier to get there from Stäfa (also gave me the chance to open up a bit on the highway :) )

Hi, I will likely look for a shop to do the instal. Not confident enough doing it myself. Worry a bit that I will damage a part or screw it ul. I think there is a place in Stäfa actually which does it. Else I found a place in Zürich.

Hi. Our two 90Ds were confirmed leaving th Fremont Factory last Thursday (August 18th). Exptected delivery End September - Begin October.

Because we are "Other Europe", the place is the Tilburg. Anyone know if it is possible to pickup the cars personally in Tilburg, possibly visit a factory (not important) and how the temporal licence plates work (if Tesla manages this or there is an official office to get them, in NL)? We asked DS twice, but he is ignoring this kind of questions so far.

Thanks. Probably going to write up some FAQ for others, because there are the lots of practical questions and hard to find the answers even when crawling the forums obsessively. ;)

Got a message saying my car was on a train from California to Newark, NJ - so assume crossing the USA takes 4 days, bit few days waiting to load it on to a ship, then 3 weeks to cross the Atlantic before building and shipping to the UK....my delivery estimate of Oct/early Nov sounds about right.

Damucz; I'd assume your timescales the same as mine, I got my factory complete message around the same time, maybe a bit earlier actually. I think there's no way it can get from California to Tilburg and built in 4 weeks...

Dan43: When did you get a call from your delivery specialist? I got a call yesterday and was told minimum 3 weeks, so earliest possible is 14 Sep. For us that will probably mean pushing delivery out to end of Sep :-(

Dan43 said from Tilburg. So his is on its way some time already. Probably it was already assembled/finalized in Tilburg Factory. Now only delivered to "his" Service Center.

The vessel times from US are different from 11 to 19 days. Depends on the logistics. Often the boat has to stop multiple harbors to load up, later stop multiple harbors to unload. The biggest unknown before loading the goods is a paperwork. Could be day up to a week. But as soon as it is on the boat, it's 11 to 19 days.

Car was due end of August. Had the silent treatment for a week or two then got an email and a phone message saying week of the 05th September.

As damucz correctly mentions it is on its way from Belgium already and I was told built and ready (it was a cancelled order it seems) so discounted accordingly.

It should then arrive at my service centre in under 2 weeks time. It is currently 1 week later than originally planned.

Jaro73 Any news regarding delivery from your DS? I bought my car through a Portuguese partner and I have very limited access to information, but your car was produced the same day as mine, so they should have made the journey together. Let me know any updates, please :)

Damcuz: our car is probably in the same boat as Dan43's from Tilburg to UK.

Dan43: spoke to DeS today. Managed to 'negotiate' from week if 12 Sep to Week of 5 Sep! The countdown begins.....

Great! :) Our cars left Fremont by August 18th. By train to New York and then by boat to Europe.

I checked the vessels - the first possible one departs tomorrow 25 Aug and should be in Amsterdam 12 Sep. Coincidence? :)

The following vessels are 8.9.->23.9., 16.9.->26.9. and 21.9.->4.10. (The days could be +-1.)

So at least for our cars it depends if they manage to get throught the customs (harbor paperwork) in time for the tomorrow boat.

It looks you were already confirmed your Tesla beeing embarked in New York tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

EDIT: Reading your post again, you managed to get the car sooner. Then it's probably already on some boat. One goes 13 Aug -> 23 Aug. Disembarking yesterday +- a day.

Red Matter ours must be on the same boat, given a smooth run I may be able to collect on Friday 02nd which is what we and my DS are aiming for.

Hi, got your PM as well. My car shows (confirmed by DS) delivery between Sept 17 and Oct 1. I'm out in US on biz between 18-24 so lets hope that the car does not end up waiting for me ;)

Jaro73, I only found the message feature later, so I copied the text! :) Many thanks for your reply! I don´t have a DS, all I have is the Late Aug-September delivery because the dealership sent a print screen to me!
I was hoping the delivery would be a lot sooner, since the production was so fast. :(

Many thanks and if you have any updates in the next coming weeks let me know, my car will take longer than yours, because there's no Tesla service in Portugal. :/

Regards,
Gil Sousa

Good to see another Portuguese member and future owner here.
My 75D finished production on August 4th and has been "In Transit" since then, which according to my DS is "perfectly normal"...
6 to 8 weeks seems to be the "normal" transit time from Fremont to Tilburg ...
Tic...Tac...Tic...Tac...

Dan43: who is your DS? It's a constant negotiation with my DS, Jo, at Heathrow to get an earlier date. Currently tentatively booked in for 7 Sep but told that they can confirm only by the 5th. Another DS, some bloke whose name I didn't ask, told me that it is 3 weeks from dispatch to delivery. Out of that two weeks is landing in UK to get to service centre. Somehow with the 7th date, they will now manage to do pre-delivery inspection in one day. Magic!

A bit disappointed with DS process. Very polite, responsive and communicative but very inconsistent in the information that they give. One DS (get my DS only 50% of the time on the phone) told me in mid-July that the car was on a boat from US. Called the next week to find out if it had racked NL only to find out that the information was incorrect. I could write a book - agonising wait for MS.

Good luck.

Mine is coming via Gatwick but was already built, I purchased a cancelled order, so probably avoided a few of the new build delays.

We are trying for the 02nd as I have an important weekend business meet and the S75D will be used for PR for my new start-up Company so we are trying, but we both agree that it may slip to the 05th if in service their appears more to do than we hope, so it is a fingers crossed scenario.

Other issues unrelated to delivery mind could cause a minor day or two delay also :-(

Great! Another Portuguese future owner of a Tesla! Did you buy directly or with zeev? What colour did you buy?
