I'm guessing (8.0) 17.10.42 which still seems to be rolling out
I think that is for AP1 cars. It looks like the OP has an AP2 car. The latest firmware (so far) for AP2 cars is 17.9.3 which has been out a while.

Nope, won't be 17.10.42 on a HW2 car. Could be 17.9.3, which is still dribbling out.

For me, updates always come overnight, so I see them first thing in the AM around 5am when I get up. I am in Chicago.
Has there ever been an update that hits every car over a short period of time, or are they always rolled out over a couple of weeks?

I believe they've rolled out security patches very quickly and also when they adjusted SAS functionality before installing the shields.
