Yes, this would be a nice addition to the Tesla app. That's another reason CarPlay would be nice - you could use A Better Route Planner on both your phone and your car.
It would also be nice if Tesla made the map available on the Tesla App.
You can install our site as a web app on your iOS device by utilizing the Add to Home Screen feature in Safari. Please see this thread for more details on this.

For sure. I would like integration with my local pizza shop as well as reminders of Election Day and what’s on the ballot and my email. Actually it turns out I just want my iPhone to have wheels and seats, do 0-60 in less than 4 seconds, etc. I still want it to fit in my front pocket though. Maybe there’s a way to allow an iPhone to integrate with a car media system. They could call it Apple Car or Play Apple or something clever, get some graphic designers to make a neat logo or something, license it to manufacturers saving them a bunch of effort working with pizza chains, etc, and we could have best of both worlds!Tesla could do a lot more with the App generally, so that it would include more than just basic vehicle interaction functionality.
You can get an aftermarket external monitor for CarPlay. If FSD and Wyze becomes integrated into the screen I would consider. For sure. The question is how much are you willing to pay for all of it? LOL.For sure. Lol number one is already available if you are plugged in.Or how about, for starters:
1. Ability to schedule departure and pre-conditioning from the App
2. Driving stats
3. And the above-mentioned route-planning from the App

Sorry - didn’t get the sarcasm. If you work in software development you’re more than aware of the public ignorance over what’s involved.Says the guy who can’t recognize sarcasm. You might feel otherwise if you saw my resume.
And #2 is covered by some of the many non-OEM apps available, many with free versions. I use TezLab and pay $50/yr for a ton of data on usage.Or how about, for starters:

Several posts about software professionals calling each other out lately. who among you thought it was a good idea to patch a moving vehicle?Ford's way to do OTA updates on Mach-E. It is an absolutely more eventful experience than on any Tesla!
FordPower-Up 1.7.1 followed by Stop Safely Now.
Don't be afraid if this happens to you. Pull over somewhere safe, shut off your car and wait about 4 or 5 minutes and then turn it back on and you should be good. Head over to your dealer and have them clear the codes and run a Self Test. That should get you going again. If any...www.macheforum.com

I know it's beating a dead horse, but this is what happens when you think you can just throw together some parts and become a 'Tesla killer'.Ford's way to do OTA updates on Mach-E. It is an absolutely more eventful experience than on any Tesla!
