So far, 6800 miles, average is 285Wh/mile. Went from Prescott AZ to Phoenix- energy consumption was down to 78Wh/mile as I entered Phoenix!

That's an elevation drop of over 4200 ft. You must have been in neutral coasting most of the way! :biggrin: It would be interesting to see the difference on the return trip.

I take it back. Not that you amaze me, but I can get something like your numbers. This is from this morning, Sunriver, OR, to the Detroit Supercharger, about 3000ft in elevation loss along the way and driving rather slowly.

Broke 38K this month, getting movement on my lifetime average is getting tougher and tougher. My monthly Wh/mi was closer to 280 for most of the month, but the last 10 days to 2 weeks the temps were over 100F almost every day and running the AC hit me pretty hard.

The road trip averaged 314 Wh/mi (310 if I take out the laps at Laguna Seca), so drove my overall average up. Since getting back, I've returned to my normal commuting pattern, and saw 287 Wh/mi since I got back...

About 80/20 split of highway/town driving. Town is quite hilly, so higher energy use. Hypermiled on the highway though, due to long distances between EVSEs.

I measured this this evening (September 2nd) but am posting after midnight (September 3rd). This past month, no trips...except one out of the country, so that was 17 days without driving my Model S! This made for very few miles, of course. ;-) As usual, "A" is my near-lifetime and "B" is the past month. Wow, monthly amount down to 295 from 307. ;-)
