Loss of connectivity Today

If it is ATT wireless, the outage map seems to correlate to the locations mentioned, here's the link in case AT&T Outage Info: Map, Reports, Problems History

We are not really on that map, and our att phones are all great. Tesla is not connecting.

That's not an official map fr ATT, is it?

Was on way to pick up kids, all was normal. Halfway there, maps would not load, internet radio stopped. There were no bars at the time.

While waiting for the kids, I had cell reception again, (2-3 bars LTE) but no data loaded. I rebooted the main screen, no fix.

One way home, cell reception ramped up to full bars LTE, but still, nothing loaded, no maps, no internet radio, no web browser.

Got home, it reconnected to wifi and everything loaded again.

We use ATT for our cell phones, and they were working perfectly the whole time.

Thoughts?

Completely down in Atlanta. Tesla should have done that deal with Verizon!

It's obvious that they cannot pay their bills and that they will be declaring bankruptcy by the end of the week.

Yes, the entire AT&T network around the country seems down. I can't reach any of the cars I support in North America, but Europe/Asia is working fine.

Out of curiosity how are you able to do this normally?

Down in Chicago as well. As soon as I pulled into my garage where there is wifi, everything started working again, including the Tesla app. Also was getting odd TPMS warnings. That could be separate, though...

Looks like someone tripped over a cord or forgot to pay the bill. Two most likely scenarios.

I had AM and FM on my old MS, but when I got an MX, I no longer had AM. Just listen to AM stations through Internet. Until this afternoon.....

Some AM stations are simulcast on secondary HDRadio channels on FM. It's worth checking out the stations available in your area.

In Canada, with 3G connections, many are having issues since mid-July! We can loss data connection 2-3 times during a 20 minutes trip! Very annoying! No map tiles update, no Internet music, no Voice Commands.... not good!

Same problem in Phoenix, AZ. Car kept playing the last song and app wouldn't connect.
All fine now. Also rebooted main screen.

The data came back on about 7:40PM ET for about 5 minutes and then went off again. No data the remainder of the trip home. When I went to work this AM, everything seemed to be back to normal.

Good reason to have different carrier for your Cell phone. Not as likely that ATT and another carrier would go down at the same time.

ATT is not down. Our 4 ATT iPhones and two ATT iPads all worked perfectly though this entire situation.
