May 2022 Orders - when is your delivery?

Anyone who has taken delivery or been able to set a delivery date…how long from when you got your VIN assigned did it take to get the set a delivery date text? Its been 10 days for me since I’ve received the VIN but haven’t heard anything else

Well just after I posted this, I got the text to schedule delivery lol. Only issue is they gave two days, 17th and 19th and im out of town that weekend. Smh

Are they allowing you to pick it up on a different day then?

Gotcha, let us know what they end up doing. I'm curious how these situations are handled this month in case I end up in the same boat. I know you can do a hold and get a new VIN, but I would rather not risk going past Dec as I want the discount

I told them up front when I would be available and that I was concerned with availability. They made sure the two week window is set right between those dates for me.

I just keep laughing. I got my VIN, Tesla wants their money (down payment) but I do not see my 3750 dollar credit. So I asked them about it, they stated the 3750 credit will not be added until 24 hours before delivery. Hmmm????? What if the car arrives Jan 1? They got me all worked up with a 3750 credit. I feel Tesla is using me in the event that those before me cancel, and now I might have to settle for the government handout EV program broken maybe into years of tax credit. I just rather have the Tesla Credit.

The 7 seaters definitely seem to be following a different delivery timeline than the 5 seaters (probably because there's a lot fewer of them and they all come from Fremont).

So since I couldn’t do the 17th or 19th, they said they can set me up for the 20th or 21st. They were pretty open about it!

Just scheduled my delivery for Dec 14. I still need them to adjust the MVPA with the $3750 credit, but there's still time for that. I haven't paid yet. My full timeline below:

I took delivery on 12/4 at Fremont factory. Almost perfect except a couple tiny rubber bend. Installed bunch of 3rd party stuffs on it last two days, lived in garage most of night, boss was not happy, lol. Still need to adjust to the one pedal driving, other than that love it.
No USS, no matrix light, old camera, has cover.

Yes. It was instant.

so close to the end and a personal circumstance change forced me to cancel and lose deposit
Better waiting for financial situation to resolve itself before becoming a two Tesla family.
