If your referring to a floor jack with the small lift saddle you really shouldn’t be using that jack anyway as the width of the jack wheels are too narrow and can tilt.

I'm using the jack on the bottom where the head is round. Your jackpad is rectangular.

In that theory all brake pads would be round.
Under your vehicle Is a very small round lift area with creased weight bearing ridges, my lip pads are rectangular in that design to more evenly distribute the weight along those ridges and the round area.
No. As in the pictures that small of a saddle won’t work. Lifting with a small diameter saddle even with a regular vehicle is risky. Always better to go with a wider one.
This style works best. A 2-3 ton aluminum low profile flor jack.

That won't fit on the Model 3.
The Model 3 doesn't have 2 jack holes.
Lastly....you should make a round one with only 1 hole. Lots of newer jacks have round heads on them.
This is the model 3 jack pad adapter, that original picture is a stick picture. If you would have clicked on the eBay link you would have seen that.
And most floor jacks have round lift saddles, the design is to contact More of the lift area to more evenly distribute the weight.

Are circular rubber pad inserts common, to make the ‘cup’ area have a flush face?

Your not lifting the entire weight of the vehicle, I use both the 1.5 and 2.5ton depending on the need. The 2.5ton has a wider wheel base and rolls easier on uneven ground where the 1.5ton works best in tight spaces.
If space is a limitation the 1.5ton will work. It I find myself using the 2.5ton note often.

Just stopping by to say this is a quality design jack pad. It survived accidental forgetfulness when I was rushing to go pick up my wife after swapping out all four wheels for the winter season (I was late picking up my wife BTW) about a week ago. I forgot one of the four jack pads under my Tesla Model 3, drove it for about 7 miles or so round trip and it survived not getting lost in the middle of the road somewhere. The magnet was strong enough to hold the jack pad onto the car for the entire short trip. I was expecting to lose the jack pad due to pot holes and irregular road pavements. Job well done on the design.
