Ordered a Black LR Awd on Monday, March 4. So far no contact from anyone at Tesla. My account still just shows the RN. When ordering it showed delivery within 2 weeks which still shows on my account page.

How long does it usually take before some kind of contact from a delivery/sales rep?

"Usually" is kind of tough to answer, since only recent experiences might be relevant. After the 4Q18 US peak, Tesla got rid of a bunch of their US delivery reps due to lack of volume. Hopefully someone who's taken delivery in the past few weeks will give you some insight on their timing experience. Good luck!

I ordered an MR on 3/4. I got a VIN and delivery appt the next day. I've yet to have anyone contact me at Tesla, but I HAVE called their help line. The national rep gave me info on the car's shipment to the service center and info on the car itself and was able to change my delivery appt. I just finished submitting all payment/insurance/registration info this morning, so maybe that prompts them to get in touch.

The process doesn't give me the warm fuzzies...a little more communication/hand-holding would be nice. The national reps have been helpful, at least.

Yeah, thankfully the product makes the sketchy process on the front end all worthwhile. Hang in there.

Picked up today.. 14km on the odo.. 2018 build.. additional $2.7k price adjustment and a note ensuring FSD/HW3 upgrade.

I have the option to buy a P3D inventory at also $2,700 discount. It only has 30 miles on the odometer, but is a 2018 build (not sure of the month).
Until now I was thinking it would be worth waiting for HW3, and having a 2019 model might have more resale value than 2018, but maybe the discount is more valuable.
How did you get a note ensuring FSD/HW3 upgrade? Did you even order FSD before taking delivery?

Ordered March 2nd 2019 - Black/Black Model 3 Perfomance with FSD. Got a text and email today with my tentative delivery date of March 22nd. The links in the email asks me to upload my drivers license and confirm delivery date. But when I click the links it just takes me to the main manage page and there is no place to do what they ask.

Just found this site and updated the order tracker spreadsheet. Very helpful site. I see I am not alone in being a bit disappointed in the online ordering process. Actually it was very easy to order but the follow up from Tesla leaves a lot to be desired - especially for a company that want all their orders to be online. Still can't wait to get the car though!

It is written on my delivery declaration document signed by Tesla Rep.

I think anyone who had an order in and not taken delivery when the new pricing was announced got EAP to FSD automatically..

I just reminded them before I took delivery that I wanted something in writing that said I get FSD/HW3 or I would just drive the car for 7 days (I didn't do a test drive) and return it and order another with the new price matrix....

Getting $2700 for 2018 I was fine with.. pays for my coilovers and ceramic coating.. lol...

Well, the 'delivery experience' for my survey won't be a high rating. I showed up, as scheduled and communicated by the advisor, at noon. He informed us that the car was in service because of a seatbelt warning, and that they couldn't let it go because it was a safety issue. Estimated time to fix would be 1.5hrs + a software update. 4 hours later, they were still 'working' and I got a loaner to take home (did I mention that we live 3 hours away and I took a day off work for this!?). They're planning to do a home delivery and swap for the loaner. I'm bummed about it, as I'd like to put the first miles on the car, but it's tough to take another 6 hours out of a day with two kids around.

The car has been there since Sunday, and I guess immediately prior to delivery they decided it was time to prep the thing. They hadn't even gone down the delivery checklist yet.

The upside is the loaner was an S 100D. What an absurdly fast car. With plenty of 'hammer it' takeoffs and passes, I still averaged close to rated wh/mile for the 3hr trip home. That gives me some confidence in my range choice.

How soon after getting a VIN do folks typically get a delivery date?

I received a VIN and the MVPA yesterday, but still don't have a delivery date (still says "Estimated Delivery: within two weeks of order placed date") nor an assigned delivery specialist.

I only ordered on March 4th (LR AWD MCRed 19 White AP), but it does seem like white interior is an issue. The inventory spreadsheet up to Feb 19 showed very few white interiors available, and the local store tried hard to sell me on an in stock 2019 black interior (everything else the same as my order) with a small discount (in addition to the $1000 interior refund). They even suggested buying one of the carbon fiber replacement dash trims, as I mentioned we really don't like the wood trim. If the SC would fit it I would have jumped, but not for a DIY solution at the discount offered.
