42.3 apparently just has key fob support as stated in release notes.

I got 42.3 this morning and have Nav on Autopilot as well as fob support and regenerative braking. Used NoA this morning and it worked pretty well in my busy SoCal commute. Also used it on Mad Max mode and it appears to do lane changes like a normal person in this area now. It does seem to make some interesting choices on which lanes to use. I typically do not go to the carpool lane on my commute as the rightmost lanes are better for the time I am on the freeway and it wanted to go there. Visualization of vehicles around you and BSM visuals are better now. Overall I'm liking this update better than before.

I have no clue how to check the map or if Tesla only enable NoA on select cars. Mine is early build from January.

I'm on 42.2 and i have the key fob support on the release notes and regenerative breaking.

My 42.2 release notes, right after update. Then i can never see this again after (because of a bug since 39.7)

I just got a update from TeslaFi that new software version (2018.42.3 eb373a0) is detected on a Model 3 in Illinois.
Anyone know what is included in this update? Is this the version that will enable Auto Park?
Downloaded 2018.42.3 eb373a0 overnight, installed this morning after the drive into the office. Release notes indicate drive on nav (not tested yet), enhanced regenerative braking (confirmed on LR RWD). Parking after returning from lunch, car offered to do it for me as I was halfway into the process of backing into a space. I ignored it to stay out of door ding range of the adjacent car.

Something new to play with this weekend.

Got a notification that I had a software update this morning kicked it off just before I headed to work. Ended up moving me from 2018.32.7 to 2018.42.3. While at work got another notice that a software update was available. Decided to wait until I got home to install it as I didn't want to possibly miss the release notes for my first update. Waiting for the new update to install now. I assume it is 2018.42.4 ccb9715.

I got 42.3 just 5 am today, which was like Thursday only, and today people are already getting 42.4.

it's like they wake up, look at the logs for an hour or so, spend half an hour actually trying to fix what they saw, and another 15 20 minutes of qa cycle.

No wonder next morning they yet still need a new set of fixes .

I rarely test, but when I do, I do it in production... A typical silicone valley startup with 2 engineers.

Except they are not a 2 engineers startup abymore, and their 15 minute qa cycle then flies around at 80 mph...

EAP requires constant updates to continue to improve.

Friday morning the Model 3 announced ready for update, installed 42.2. After dinner I took it out to finish NoA calibration. Calibration completed about 1 mile from highway on-ramp. Short NoA to Tesla King of Prussia, charge for a few minutes on one of their 40-Amp HPWC, then NoA home again. Not yet impressed.

The car was in the driveway, with Wi-Fi, about 30 minutes when it announced it was ready for another update. 42.4 when it finished. Not taking it out again tonight.

Our Model S got 42.2 Tuesday while at our daughter's. Her husband puts an AP in his study window overlooking their driveway. Checked it tonight, no NoA. Now parked in our driveway within Wi-Fi range. Hope it picks up the new maps tonight. Son-in-law will take the S to Penn State with 3 friends, would like the car to have best capability. Looks like the S100D can get from our daughter's neighborhood near Philadelphia to State College SuperCharger with no intermediate stops.

I wonder why some cars get multiple updates in the same amount of time that others might not even get one. And yes...mine is on WiFi every day.

Try going into the Tesla app and turn off notifications for updates. Then close the app. Re-open the app and turn back on notifications for updates. This triggered my update notification for both 42.2 and 42.4. You can also disconnect then re-connect the car from your wifi.

Okay a few days in with new update and NoA does some odd things. For instance it always wants to change lanes and often slows down quite a bit (from 70 to 50 mph) before making that change. I had other passengers with me so I disabled it. EAP worked fine without it. I’ll try something other than Mad Max mode when I’m alone as I don’t want to alarm passengers.

At least all you guys can hook up to WiFi. I even put my routers in the garage w my car. It would see the network but wouldn’t connect. Maybe because I don’t use a pw as I’m 1/3 mile from civilization?
